I could give you a few pointers on the dog too, but none you'd probably accept.  (What is it about people and dogs?  They're good for target practice but little else -- the dogs, that is.)  Just kidding.  I love dogs.

I think everyone has streaks where nothing seems to go right, but eventually things turn around.  My streak is fast approaching 50 years, so I figure I'm due.

And the dog?  What happened to it?

I once knew a fellow who was brought to trial on charges of animal cruelty.  He had a neighbor whose dog barked all night every night.  The neighbor was deaf, so the barking didn't bother him.  After about six months of not being able to sleep, this fellow I knew decided to pay the neighbor a visit.  The neighbor's dog was on a chain but nevertheless attacked this poor fellow as he tried to reach the neighbor's front porch.  Luckily the fellow just happened to be carrying a shovel, and he used the shovel on the dog in self defense.  The dog survived this fellow's spirited defense, but it lost an eye in the process.  Ironically, the chain did not reach to the front porch, so if this fellow had just managed to get to the front porch, he would have been safe.  About two weeks before trial, the dog mysteriously vanished.  It looked like witness tampering, but without a body . . . . A jury gave this fellow two years in a state jail facility, and he served it day for day.  At the time, two years was the most a person could get.  I believe ten years is now the ceiling.

So us dog-lovers want some assurances nothing untoward happened to the dog.

Many thanks!  We'll all be sleeping better in Texas!

Those are beautiful animals.  Well, beautiful might not be the best way to describe Albert, but with a mug like that, he's got to have other winsome qualities.

Regarding "A Deadly Meet," so far so good.  It's a good cat-and-mouse scenario.  It reminds me a bit of "Red Steel at (Somewhere in the Soviet Union)."  It requires good recon.  Good opportunities for shoot and scoot.  I didn't know if you wanted it played with or without EA, but I assumed you wanted it without, so that's the way I set it up for our PBEM game.

Thanks for the feedback Frank! [8D]

I would recommend to NOT play with EA. It will play more "true to form" without it. Glad you are enjoying it! Please be sure that you and Andy submit an end game test report when you conclude your current game. I really appreciate the two of you agreeing to play test "A Deadly Meet."
