No, I accidentally overwrote it at some point.

What's your Strategy?

Oh man, I've done that before. Ugh. Particularly in the DOS days it was so easy to F-up and delete the wrong things.
Especially when you didn't remember the abbreviations in the 8.3 save format!Moltrey wrote: Mon Oct 02, 2023 1:07 pmOh man, I've done that before. Ugh. Particularly in the DOS days it was so easy to F-up and delete the wrong things.
I don't recommend printing this out, but it is possible to do so and wind up with a *somewhat* reasonable number of pages. First step is to hide columns M through AK - they have useful background information, but for the most part are of little use when it comes to the "Day 2" moves. Second is to play around with the "Print Preview" settings - I still use Excel 2007 so if you have a different version (or are using Open Office), then these instructions may not work exactly, but there should be equivalents in your version. Anyway:T_Patch wrote: Thu Sep 28, 2023 5:47 pm I've tried to download this to a hard copy to put in my notebook but (being a computer moron) have been unable to fit the spreadsheet onto paper. Also, I think the number of pages is humoungous...?
Care to share the pdf?Platoonist wrote: Fri Sep 29, 2023 1:24 am I converted the whole spreadsheet into a PDF and transferred it to my Surface, and then read from that while working the game on the big rig. A dual monitor set-up would have been ideal at the time.
It's very easy to do. Select "Print" and when it asks you to provide the "Printer Name" (probably already pointing to your existing printer), click the Down Arrow in that box and select "Microsoft Print to Pdf" and then "OK"
My next WitP Tutorial videos are going to feature your spreadsheets and my methods for using them. In my opinion, your setup spreadsheets are the absolutely best tool for new players to get acclimated to the grand campaigns. I am always pushing their use on my Discord.Kull wrote: Mon Nov 27, 2023 3:32 pm Glad that it's helping!If/when you have questions, take some time to peruse this thread, as it's likely that others have asked the same question at some point in the past.

Veeery nice Yaab. Kinda like reading an encyclopedia AE.Yaab wrote: Sat Dec 30, 2023 10:31 am Thus, I created a Word file and started putting the first turn info in a more narrative way. This allows me to explain why some of my opening variants become defunct with time.
Yes, that is nice. It explains the "why" and not just the "who, what, and where" of the deployments. I have never used Kull's spreadsheets but I understand that they help a lot of new people. A brief text file explaining just a few of the deployments and why could also help new players. Even if all of the deployments are explain and maybe only just one explained, it could help new players grasp the campaign game much easier and quicker.Platoonist wrote: Sat Dec 30, 2023 12:01 pmVeeery nice Yaab. I have the feeling that requests for a downloadable version of Yaab's deployments will shortly be pouring in.RangerJoe wrote: Sat Dec 30, 2023 4:47 pm Yes, that is nice. It is not "Pocałuj mnie w (insert common word for) Equus Asinus" which is close to, but not quite the same, as "kiss my grits!"Platoonist wrote: Sat Dec 30, 2023 4:53 pmI have the feeling that requests for a downloadable version of Yaab's deployments will shortly be pouring in.RangerJoe wrote: Sat Dec 30, 2023 4:47 pm Yes, that is nice. Ranger Joe, does the new Matrix decency policy also cover Polish?
