9/18/42 Finished off the TF at Loemadjing. I don't believe that was the original destination. I had seen him the day before near Denpasser. Hard luck.

The day before, I had spotted a carrier force of some sort approaching from the south. My reports were that it was a small one but I figured I better get the KB moving that way.
