This is what's going on near
Pskov. I'm pushing north along the coastal road from
Pskov to
Chernevo and
NE along road to
Luga and I advanced an armour unit to
Batetskiy. It's in poor shape and I might ought not to have moved it there. I'm in too much of a hurry doing things like that. I'm also pushing east to try to get to
Staraya Russa eventually. I'm running into more Soviet resistance the further east I push.

I've driven a line of heavy units along the road from
Chernigov to
Nezhin and finally got a
recon unit into the city adjacent to my
paratrooper unit. Better than nothing at all.

I'm pounding the southernmost stack of Soviet units because it's crowded-
red and therefore will have a greater density of targets for my tubes. All my infantry adjacent to that hex are dug in, saving their strength for when it's time to attack the Soviet ground units with all my adjacent infantry. I'd like to put off the attack on the Soviet infantry with my infantry until I can block the
one port that permits the escape of all those Soviet units on the west side of the river. About
10 turns from now probably.

This is what it looks like around
Bryansk right now. I've got a gap I need to close to the
SW of
Bryansk but I've got enough units nearby to close it before the Soviets can take advantage of it. After I grab
Bryansk I'll go for
Orel next.

This is looking north from
Pskov. I'm still pushing toward
Leningrad but I'm running into more resistance than usual.

This is the middle of
T15 in the middle of the outback. I'm sneaking up on
D-Town at the elbow of the two rivers.

This is late
T15 (
round 5 ) in the
Leningrad thrust and it's looking good. Note that the
rail is repaired all the way to
Narva and beyond. I can't remember if I have any more
MP's left anywhere so this may be the last position of most everybody. I expect the Soviets will move a lot more units between me and
Leningrad. I've got a huge gap in my units between the group up north and the middle closer to
Pskov. It's because most of the gap is
forest with a single road in it. I'm mostly plugging up the roads and rails if I can.

This is
T16 before anybody has moved, well except for the
4th Brandenburg paratrooper. I chose the airfield near
Staraya Belitsa but I wasn't counting on going into
reorg immediately upon landing. One ore shy of a cookie or something. I haven't moved anyother unit yet. I'm still planning on how I'm going to save my paratrooper. I'll work on it.
