The Japanese squelch about a bit in the rain. The Formosa MIL discretely moves into and out of Nanchang so nobody notices the change of government (10 rolled).

Land Combat:
Germany

The Germans announce one attack west of Metz. The odds are 65:15 (4:1) - not sure on the modifiers - probably +3 or +4. No aircraft for the Germans.

Do the French fly? They have a bomber and a fighter (3 factor) and the Germans have a 3 and 4 factor fighter they could intercept with.

Land Combat:

Final odds are 3:1 +4

Fractionals work (423 thrown) and land throw a 3. No losses to the French at all on a 4:1 +4. I don't convert to retreat.

Here is a picture of the losses for the turn. What losses one might ask? But then one must remember that Axis have had a run of bad luck this turn. Lost the initiative, rolled low on a high odds attack so the defenders just shattered. A roll of extremely bad weather. And that was that for Axis this turn. Enough bad luck to spoil a game [:@] [:(].

I sincerely hope that Axis can recover after this setback.
