Still love to know why they can be "pinned", but stillmoving 23 mph??

Passenger units retain the speed of their transport when it is destroyed and they are "dumped" out. The same thing happens if the transport "breaks down" during moving and the passenger is "unloaded".

There are some "bugs" in the Speed system in the game, resulting in some odd speeds. I believe most of them involve the conversion process from meters/hex to miles/hour.

well what blows me away is the thought I just had that should probably go to the gripes thread is that the thought of the COMPUTER,,, getting to do the "TO HIT" calculations for my units firing, had better not be using that speed when it crossreferances the chances and angles for a sucessful impact??!! if thats the case regularly, its ammazing anything hits anything, short of a collision of units in same hexes??!!

Northern boarder watch reports mass flanking of enemy units to southern direction, large # of penetrations of our initial lines and mines,, Heard garbeled radio reports from other platoons requesting reinforcement!

This is nastier than any delay I've played against the AI for the quickness and accuracy that the forward units struck!!

This is definately got me worried, these posts are from turn 5 to 7 and I'm not able to slow them quickly enough to ensure a low casualty withdrawl!
