AXIS #6 MAY/JUN 41
Japanese naval move, Germany and Italy land. Pretty quiet.
Romanian Cavalry and a German Infantry Corps occupied the Yugoslav ports. The CA Dalmacija made it to Malta, but the cp was intercepted on a 2, and destroyed by Littorio. She is making a habit of sinking Allied cps but perhaps over-gunned for this mission.
The Axis are less than impressed with a weather roll 1. Summer storms. A break to your English cricket season.

After a very quiet Allied #7 impulse, the turn ends on a 1. A brutally short May/June from the Axis point of view.
Destroyed units May/June 1941. Yugoslavia is conquered. Where can I find cp losses? The Italians lost 2 or 3.

Unfortunately, you can't. Nor pilots, either.

We have not even kept to the oft-criticised Hitlerian timetable. Yet it must happen.
The Hungarian woman is wailing over distended entrails. Over the Berghof balcony the sky turns a frightening gamboge and purple. The Fuhrer takes an early night, and was not at all interested in his boiled vegetable dinner or Disney animation, etc etc.
The short May/June has left the lines well apart, especially in the south. Historians will note the unusually short weather, and Balkan delays.
The southern flank. The resources. Barely a speed bump. Summer uniforms.

AXIS #1 JUL/AUG 41
Germany aligns Finland. Wise to this ploy, the Soviets have garrisoned Leningrad, but not Murmansk, which the Finns soon occupy.

The Eastern Front on the eve of the grand German offensive. The Germans will need to move into position and conserve their main strength, mindful of the need for air cover next impulse.

Italy naval, Germany and Japan land.
Sub searches fail in N Atlantic (5, 10) and CSV (5, 7). But an Italian sub finds in Biscay (3, 9).

The Italians have loaded E Med with air power. 3, 5 find.
Italian fighters again underperform, despite +1 air to air from surprise; but the 3 bombers get through and sink both Allied cps.
Malta is now out of supply. Scrambled Allied bombers abort back there after a single combat round.
