Not the most authoritive source but a very clear message that the T-14 Armata is never going to be put into serial production or procured in meaningful numbers.
Quantity has a quality of it's own....

Last Typhoon Class Submarine decommissioned and to be scrapped?
https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2022/07/ ... rts-a78349
? because TASS is saying another thing: "still part of the navy until at the end of the year. Where they would deliberate on the status of the submarine itself".

And a little homage to the iconic submarine class.
The CMO splash screen modded, with the best pic I could find.
To use it, go to this folder:
"Command Modern Operations\Symbols\StartMenu"
Backup the original file:
CMO_logo.jpg
And paste the modded one in the same folder.

It seems we'll see soon how good are the Iranian drones in a real war. Beyond the Arabian peninsula, anyway.
https://sundries.com.ua/en/iran-handed- ... ederation/
This comes after US intelligence disclosed the visits of Russian officials to an Iranian airbase for inspecting drones. And then Putin's visit to Iran.
Iran denied they were going to sell the drones.
https://www.tehrantimes.com/news/474747 ... -to-Russia
Information war or reality? We'll soon discover, when the first video of a wreckage or of an action of an Iranian drone is made public in Ukraine.

The news isn't the acquisition. Its that they are depleting their missile stocks with almost no news about it.
edit:

So dug into it a little. SA has been attacked 375 times by missile or drone since the start of the Yemen intervention. Thats a lot of interceptions. It highlights the missile attrition part of any war that we have discussed a lot on these boards.

Amongst the hypebole the Kurganets 25 bites the dust in favour of a reconfigured BMP-3 with a new turret. A trend is developing.

Airbus has showcased a new modular concept for an armed ‘heavy loyal wingman' to be operated as part of the wider Future Combat Air System (FCAS).
Shown at the International Fighter Conference 2022 (IFC 2022), taking place in Berlin on 16 November, the Remote Carrier (RC) concept features a common fuselage with interchangeable mission and weapon systems to suit the needs of the mission.
As depicted in the artwork, the heavy RC features three interchangeable radar payloads for air-to-air, air-to-ground, and electronic attack, respectively. An internal weapons bay can carry jamming pods or a range of munitions or effectors, including two MBDA Meteor beyond-visual-range air-to-air missiles (BVRAAMs), two GBU-54 Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAMs), four MBDA Select Precision Effects At Range-Electronic Warfare (SPEAR-EW) effectors, or two smaller ‘light' RCs.

Of interest for databases, at current times (12/2022) only the US and Australian F-35 are equipped with the ALE-70 active towed decoy (and flares, as F-35 apparently has not chaff decoys):

About no chaff on F-35:

Kind of "old news" by now, but the Zhuhai Airshow of November 2022 has concluded and some interesting things were revealed.
First of all; a H-6K carrying two YJ-21 air-launched missile variant:
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/c ... ic-missile
Secondly, a much improved LO-shaped missile system.
Zhuhai is no stranger, to various LO-designs, but this time it got one that also has an index designation of some sort, pointing it to be adopted by the PLAAF. "AKF98A" points to it being designated "YJ-98", as the YJ-83K/KD-88 was shown as AKF88 etc.
