The Tottenham has signed a young and promising left winger from Seville, Brian Gil, a player of the spanish team, very fast and good passer. He is playing in the olympic team right now, but he already had an excellent season in Liga and Eurocup.

Well I wish the guy you describe here would make an appearance for Spurs [:(]. He may develop in time but at the moment he is just too small (easily beaten off the ball) to be effective in the Premier League. He failed to make any impact in the cup against League One Morecambe.....

Spurs needed three first teamers, that they had hoped to rest, to see off the Shrimpers at home (the League One outfit even led for most of the match).

As for Tanguy Ndombele..... Oh dear.

Strange though it's ben less than stellar so far from Spurs yet we can quite easily go fourth if we win and draw our two games in hand. Odd.

Blimey if we win the three games we have in had over Chelsea we'd be just 1 point behind them!!

So Scotland have got themselves into the situation where (a) we have a reasonable chance of qualifying for the World Cup finals but (b) to do this we have to beat a team that pretty much everyone (including most Scotland fans) would love to see in the finals - just to wind up Putin.

I can't believe SPurs managed fourth considering the season they had. I hope Conte really works some magic for next season and we maybe win the FA cup, that would be lovely.

aye, I think Ukraine will win that easily. The relative Welsh success in recent years has been off the back of one exceptional player (Bale) and a few very good. All of whom have retired or at the end of their career.

its not often that Hampden is united in singing the opposition team's national anthem (doesn't tend to happen when England visit ) but that seemed to set the tone for a very wierd atmosphere around the whole game

What use is VAR if it will not be used in a way that improve the game. Bah.

A bad penalty call, and the VAR guy does just confirm the penalty. Doesn't call in the referee to re-watch the situation. No way that the referee would have called the penalty if he had seen the situation correctly. I saw plenty of other situations in that match that were worse rule violations, and thus should have resulted in penalties by that standard, and none of those were checked by VAR either. Including an elbow to the head, and stoppage for the following head injury. That elbow, was the only one I considered worthy a penalty (although I didn't see the entire match). The referee, in general, seemed like a fairly decent one. But if he is not going to get any assistance from VAR, or doesn't want it, then what is the point? And if it works as intended, then rules needs to be changed.

Why spending a small fortune of VAR if this is all we get?

So the second half of the season was fairly decent for Tottenham?

Very decent indeed. We have some top players, three great signings last year, best football stadium in the world, amazing training grounds and one o the best managers around. So yeah things turned out well enough and next year could be something.

As for Wales it's because it's been over 60 years since they last qualified for a world cup, so pleased for them.

Sure. Location, and history, might very well count. But with that said, how do you rate the location, and history, of a stadium versus the quality of the stadium. And the history might for some count for nothing at all, compared to the actual experience of visiting a top notch arena.

The technical aspects of the arena can be measured. Hard to measure location, and history. I rather suspect that the fans are biased...
