And this morning I get to have the experince that I've been dreading ever since I learned of the move this spring....a new doctor! Another female! Can I just chew off my toes instead? [:(]

Women doctors (with narrow hands and fingers) are a blessing. [:'(]

I always get women doctors with fat little fingers (and fat little bodies) who tell me that I should lose 20 pounds (And they generally need to lose 100!). And they always tell me that I need to quit drinking (But sir! One glass of wine a day is practically an alcoholic!). We'll , I've been on a diet for most of a month, I've lost 15lbs, and haven't had a drink in a month! No doubt she'll find something to bytch about! [:(]

Your whole island is generally under a cloud! Except for Wales, I don't think any part of the UK gets that much more rain than any other...oh, that's right! You lived in the Orkneys! A little group of island, off the bigger island! [:D]

True story...Apparently there is this voice activated lift somewhere in the USA. It's computer can understand over 200 world languages, and English spoken in any ascent. Well after about a years operation, two Men had to be rescued from this lift, because they had completely 'clutched' the computer. After being rescued the two men were found to be Scotsmen! [:D]

Moving house tomorrow, no domestic interwebs until next Friday. Dau and wife distraught at the prospect.

Sounds like quite a bit of lifting. I mean moving your house and all. Around here, most people just relocate the contents of their household, but you English do things a bit differently.

You would be very surprised to know what sort of voices I hear.

You've just got to listen to the right ones and tune the others out. I've been getting on rather well with the chap in my temporal lobe that whispers "Psst....play another turn of AE before you go to bed."
