Also the redone IJN CVs are extremely cool, especially like the Taiho with the "green merchant" camo. Would it be possible to get the Shokaku in this camo as well (would round it the 1944 Kido Butai with the Taiho, Unryu and Junyo class sides very nicely).
Another round of updated art stuff which will be uploaded nect week [:)] Mostly auxilliary type ships, but also the requested Shokaku in 'merchant' camouflage colours.
Just when I think you can't get any better... [&o][&o]

Cheers for the kind words chaps [:)]
I'd hazard a guess that a few of the regular artists are involved in AE, which means I have more spare time to mess about with stuff than you do [;)]

Thank you. I guess I’ve already come out o’ the closet, given my posts in the Scen Design forums. The other contributors may, or may not, wish to be recognized; up to them.
To answer your unasked concerns, the ship artists made a concerted effort to make the AE ship art compatible with stock WiTP (so your stuff, and Fremen’s stuff is not lost). In addition, we are defining multiple upgrade bitmap positions for the majority of Japanese and Allied warships.
I can’t go into detail, but there is room for ’42 art, ’43 art, ’44 art, and ’45 art, for many, many Allied/Japanese vessels.
You and Fremen are in bigger business than ever before. As I can, I will get ya’ll more info.

Here's how the Lexington class will look. The final version in MS11 dazzle needs some work, but it's almost at the stage where I'm happy with it. What do people think so far?
Hey Dixie...nice work all of you. Just a note on the Lexingtons. The 3/42 refit should have the 8" turrets removed and the 6/42 refit should have the for twin 5" added.

JWE your ship art is simply amazing. I'm going to be really, REALLY disappointed if it isn't included in the new Admirals Edition.

On the seventh day, came the announcement of AE ...
Because it is still a work-in-process, we have been asked not to let cats out of bags, so the art will have to wait a while. For more info, check out the AE threads.
Gary, you will recognize the artists (plural). We think you will be pleased with our efforts.

Technically speaking, I have those 12 days of Christmas, which begin counting on Christmas Day. The liturgical calendar gives me flexibility. [;)]
