The bombing achieves modest results (2 BP lost) but overall a good mission for the USAAF.
US M7's attempt a bombardment in Spain. The targets being in woods puts them off their aim.
The Russians make some minor moves to line up two attacks. The ChiComms pull a unit back but the Nationalists spot a weak-spot in the Japanese positions and move to engage.

Gort debarks to support the Marines.
The CW declare 3 land combats. The Nationalists 1. The US 1 and the Soviets 3.
The USN provides shore-bombardment for the CW. Soviets fly ground support to their main effort. The Germans contest this with a Ju-88 plus escort. Another Ju-88 flies to the CW effort supported by the USN. The Japs fly against the Nationalists. The Soviets counter-intercept but with only a weak fighter.
The Migs are chased off and the Soviet bomber destroyed

M/J 1945 Axis 6
The Italians send their Nav's a Lnd and a Ftr to the West Med 3-box. Another Ftr flies to the 2-box for some hopeful additional support.
The Japs attend to CP escorts, load 2 units onto Trans in China Sea, bound for China and send 3 subs after US CP's.

M/J 1945 Axis 6: Naval Combat
The Japs fail to locate the CP's in the Hawaiian Islands and Polynesia.
The Italian force in the West Med manages to surprise the RN (1 vs 6). With no Italian navy to worry about, everything with wings is scrambled for fleet defence. It gives the RN a marginal advantage (+1:-1). Over 10 rounds the air battle goes against the RN who lose 5 CVP, rest aborted, against the Italians 1 Nav destroyed and a Ftr aborted. Despite their surprise, RN AA gunners send one NAV back to base and cause another to bomb short (9 on highest of 1). The resulting strike is highly effective, including the Anson on her first mission.

With their air wings in tatters, the RN decides to save what it can and heads back to Gibraltar. The Italians are left in command of the West Med.
No other air action.
The Germans rail a couple of Divs to the French coast to take over guard duties and free up more potent units for elsewhere.

M/J 1945 Axis 6: Land Combat
The Germans have just one land combat against partisans in Zagreb. It goes in a +12 and with a roll of 12, two partisans are destroyed.
A couple of air rebases occur to adjust the fighter cover over the Reich following the recent losses. The Italians shift one to replace the fighter that was covering Rome.

M/J 1945 Allied 7
An uneventful impulse. The Russians slightly close up to the retreating Germans but can't move too far due to running beyond supply range. The CW find the same.
A couple of air rebases to get units near the front.
Hodges, Alexander, Wavell and a US ATR reorganise 2 Ftr's and 6 Lnd.
On a 9 the turn continues
