Bah... Bring it on, Brit-Boy, and quit whining about your burning Italian battleships in Taranto harbour. You've got more pressing problems.

Hi all,

Well several enemy PT boats intercepted Ise/Hyuga & Co. 5 were swatted away but they sank DD Shiranuhi with 3 torpedoes[8|]

As such I have postponed all further surface bombardments of Noumea. I will pound it from the air and then move KB in (when repaired/upgraded) before moving troops in.

I hate PT's[:@]

----------------

More fierce air battles over Noumea costing me 2 x Zero's and 6 x bombers. Swift lost a total of 38 planes in the air and on the ground[8D]

Hi all,

Just so you know trhe war is continuing but little of relevance happened today. A couple of LBA attacks by swift on troops in China.

LCU bombardments by me and him in Burma.

My CV's are slowly repairing. CV Kaga and Zuikaku are the 2 to watch (9 and 10 SYS respectively).

Hopefully be attacking Noumea again tomorrow by LBA from Luganville.

Hi all,

An interesting development in Burma. swift has pulled his forces out of Imphal and is moving them back to Kohima. I'm guessing he is suffering from a lack of supply there (since the road is cut at Kohima) and he wants to mass strength at Kohima.

The screenshot below shows it well.

As such it is time to take advantage of this opportunity.

The 1st Parachute Rgt, currently in Soerabaja, is embarking on transports bound for Rangoon. From there she will air drop and capture Imphal. 1st Aviation Rgt (currently at Singkawang) will follow and then I will have a nice little forward air base for Tony/Tojo/Sally/Helen squadrons.

I think in time I will also air lift in a couple of more LCU's to move on Kohima and strengthen my position there [:)]

-------------

Noumea was hit hard again today. Enemy fighters did fight hard though and shot down 7 x A6M2 and an Emily.

The enemy lost 51 planes to my 10 for the day.

Hi all,

China is about to see some action again. My forces have massed to the north of Sian and are advancing towards the river to assault the scum. Recon indicated swift has pulled out of Homan so 2 x divisions moved into the place and should capture it tomorrow. They will then move on Sian to support the attack from the north.

-------------------

Noumea bombed again. Usual result a few fighters lost to enemy fighters but the enemy looses a lot more overall in the air and on the ground.

-------------------

6 x AR arrived at Osaka and were distributed evenly to Tokyo and Maizuru.

-------------------

Here's the current score:

Hi all,

Interesting. Homan was taken in China without difficulty. However, scouts report 15 enemey units 60 miles west of Sian. There are 16 units already present in Sian. I wonder if these have been marched from Chungking? As such elements of a Brigade and a Division are moving from the Changsha to investigate the status of Chungking.

My forces NW of Sian are still 45 miles from the river and Sian.

---------------

An AP was lost to Allied mines outside Luganville today. Achou Maru hit 2 mines and quickly foundered. No problem. She was empty. I would rather Werner used his subs for mining than combat patrols.

Bad weather prevented LBA from taking off from Luganville to attack Noumea today.

Hi all,

Thanks for posting guys. Nice to know someone is reading. Sorry it's a bit quiet at the moment. Werner is just sitting back 100% and i'm readying myself for the major push against New Caledonia[8D]

---------------

A smaller raid was conducted against Noumea today. Interestingly only 1 x obsolete P36A Mohawk was on CAP. 19 enemy planes were lost today to my 3.

---------------

SS I-17 lost her fight today. She had past Johnston Island on her way to Kwajalein when she sank due to damage sustained by enemy escorts NE of PH.

---------------

Amazingly BB Kirishima was reported hit by a PBY over Luganville. Damage is non-existant though (8 SYS) and can be discounted.
