Look, I realize it might SEEM to be a dumbass move to leave them on ground attack on the same unit 5 or 6 days in a row...but that is only because you lack the capacity to see 3 or 4 moves ahead.

Imagine you are one of the worried LYB commanders who have no doubt seen the buildup in Western Australia and you are perplexed by the sophomoric predictability of the B-25 attacks near Daly Waters.

Doubtless, they are now thinking, "Is he really that stupid or does he just want us to think so?"

Get this. I am moving to Texas or Idaho.[:)] First they tried to tell me the Pepper Trees were "pine trees" and now this. BTW, there is no "common area" it is all my property.

I half expect a rent a cop with a tazer will be waiting for me when I go to my car tomorrow.

Hello Cap Mandrake,

Thank you for your email response. I am replying to you on behalf of <redacted> who is currently out on maternity leave (bearing the child of an alien reptilioid).

Please find attached photos of your Pepper and Pine trees that require trimming.
As you can see, they are very overgrown and require maintenance so that they do not hang over into the street or common area.

Thank you for your cooperation and following the guidelines of your community.

Warm Regards, [:D]

We are right in the middle of the greatest example of Anglo-American cooperation of the war and you have to come in here and sow disharmony [:)]

Careful - those reptilioids don't mess around! You might try some creative pruning like in this photo from GreyJoy's AAR:

I just cut the pepper tree back on a line perpendicular to the top of the curb extended to infinity. It looks like a giant took a 20 ft wide, 600 hp weedeater, turned it sideways and just....ZZZZZZZZZWHAP!

Looks like Hell, really. 6 and 8 inch branches sawn crosswise with disreard to the side branches like some massive 25 ft high hedge. [:D]

I feel like taking my 1983 Nissan 280Z out of the garage, taking the wheels off and putting it up on concrete blocks in the front yard. I am afraid this will end badly but I am having a Chayefsky moment. I am mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!. [:)]

***********9-27***************

Another big day in the air. Some Wellys get intercepted over Burma. A total of 5 heavy are lost to all causes over NW Oz.

PH now at 71% runway damage with 28 "aux" aircraft (probably damaged fighters). The CAP is about half Oscars now. Broome at 42% damamge with no bombers. No bombers at Wyndham for now. Both sides are getting worn out. The number of avaialable P-38's is declining as they are a beast to maintain. A P-39 squadron in Melbourne is converting to P-38 as there are 7 in country.

Did I mention the Tojo is a beast? It will be a pleasure to see 2 dozen of them blown to smitherines when the BB's get to PH.

No, that was from M&M Enterprises Graphic Design Division and you had best not be critical if you know what is good for you.

That does raise an intersesting question about a night raid on Wyndham. How much damage do you gentlemen think a night raid on Wyndham with 60 or so B-24's and good intel could do? Maybe a night raid and then a daytime sweep of P-38's from Daly Waters?

Funny you should ask. This question is asked-almost verbatim-and answered in the manual.

Alright, maybe not. [:D]

ETA: I think it's worth a shot, Cap'n. Low level night bombing on that scale with good recon (the P38 sweep is a nice touch too) could be effective in blowing up the airfield.

Are you guys copacetic re: large scale night time bombing in your game? Any HR restrictions?

I can only concur - a night attack of 4Es - somewhere between 6000 and 15000 feet, depending on how much AA is present can seriously harm the enemy's AF
