caught up again here, makes me think I should throw in the towel, early '45 with a precarious foothold in the PI. You have made this exceptionally easy to follow and I appreciate it.
Your welcome!
But why would you quit your game at that point? [&:]

Base forces and other support units will at once to Haichow and mostly to Chengting.
We attack again at Hankow tomorrow with 2,703 AV, 610 of that in armored units. Don't know the supply situation there, but we have scored a number of supply hits against the base since the last land assault.
Recon shows almost 23,000 troops in those 3 units trapped in the mountains west of Chengtu, which are now all in separate hexes.

It looks like I gave the infantry divisions orders to bombard only. We have LOTS of disabled tanks, but most tank units will still participate in the next (truly) general assault. Fortifications were reduced again, and a supply(-) showed up for the defenders, but obviously just barely judging by the more than x9 final AV. Of course it does bode well for the next attack.
In two days we should be ordering the first assault at Hangchow. Probably a few days after that the first assault at Chungking. A base force has arrived at Haichow and fighters are moving in. Tomorrow many support units will arrive at Chengting to extend fighter cover there, too.

"Floating spirits - Begone!"
No battle NE of Suchow as the ex-defenders of that liberated rail stop were wiped out from the air. The armored units will race to Tsinan. With 4,168 AV at Chungking tomorrow we will make our first attack there. Remarkably, all units at Hankow are ready to attack and will also go tomorrow. One armoured unit will be held back due to high disablements making destroyed tanks more likely if they take damage. Base forces have arrived at Chengting and 84 Allied fighters are now there waiting for the daily strikes at our armour to the east.
Cebu is secured.
