Shaking off the complete failure of heavy ground strikes against the Axis lines in Ukraine, Koniev proceeds with the ordered offensive, moving his armies into position to assault the Axis panzers west of Dnepropetrovsk and to launch an assault on the city of Kiev from both banks of the river Dnieper. AA assets are moved to the front line and several fighter air regiments are ordered to cover the southern attack against the heavy expected Luftwaffe response. Because of the failed air and artilllery bombardments, the offensive is scaled down from what was originally planned to give the maximum chance for success in attacking 2 points of the German lines.
The success of the US Subs against the IJN in the China Sea has allowed an attack against the IJA by Timoshenko's Manchurian Front in China to proceed along with a flanking movement by a Cavalry army.

In Kiev USSR uses ENG and doubles 3 units with O-chit 83,5:12 (13,5).
In south USSR doubles 5 units with O-chit 84:19 (+10,3B).
In Kiev attack HQ is committed to combat and in both attacks there is an AA unit.
Attack in China is +18.
Germany can use defensive HQ support in south.

USSR uses HQ support in Kiev.
USSR fly 7 factor fighter CAP to south. No bombers.

I let JJ to roll combat in the morning, he knows better which units to advance etc. Can you tell in advance which units take losses in case 1 or 2 are killed?
