The CP continues optimistically (some may say foolishly so) to the West Med. I decline the intercept as it is pretty obvious that is where it will stay.

7 Dutch CP's move from Cape Town to Cape Verde.

2 CA's move from Gib to West Med. I decline the intercept, figuring Mayhemizer won't bother with this and they stop in the 0-box. A further task force of 3 CA's also puts into West Med. Do the Axis wish to have a bash and was the last call correct?

No intercepts was totally correct.

Axis want to initiate combat both West Med and St. Vincent.

The CA's proceed to the Italian coast where I also decline the intercept and they stop in the 3-box.

The Allies commit subs. Search rolls Allied 4, Axis 10. 4 surprise points are used to choose sub combat and the rest to increase damage to X. The CP is sent to the bottom. The Allies stay. Does the Macchi wish to hang around or head back to base?

Macchi stays.

Searches of Allied 10 and Axis 6 ends the combat.

West Med and St Vincent are declined.

Italian Coast

Searching is initiated by a CA. Do the Luftwaffe wish to add the Me-110 to the mix? It can reach the 1-box.

If there is Italian plane in 0 box, no thank you.

If there is no planes, then yes please to 0 box.

A quick check with their Italian colleagues reveals a fighter is already on patrol. The Luftwaffe pilots return to the mess for more schnapps.

The Allies commit subs. Searches Allied 6, Axis 4. How would the Axis like to spend their surprise points?

The advantage of surprise means the Italian ships escape serious damage and will be back, ready for action, in a few weeks.

The RN place the A result on the disorganised Manchester. On an 8 it saves.

Searches Allied 2, Axis 9.

The Allies spend 4 points to choose surface combat. 2 points are used to decrease damage and 3 to select target. The results are CP sunk and 2 CL's aborted.

The RN again place their abort on the Manchester, which is sent back to port on a 1.

The RN stay to fight. How about the RM?
