1st Guard is still trying south of Moscow

I start the thought process.

First of many thought here. One was that i wished the retreat had gone into a better hex than the one chosen.

Suicide Russian tank corp spotted.

Seeing if I can pinch off the northern bunch.

at this moment some of my tank corp still had good mp's.

2nd suicide tank corp spotted as attacks needed to shove aside nasty Germans.

As for the southern pincer i set up this rout lineup

Down south we go.

Attack on lead Rumanian.

My plan is to hold the Baku gap, hold the mountain passes, and hold for time.

I have a few troops hanging out in the Crimea. This is clearly not smart or needed. but it does present opportunity if my hold strategy somehow works.

Up north, the lone remaining panzer formation helps the Germans win this weeks big locale battle.

Thus the remaining big attack faces 2 German divisions instead of one.

So i did my best on the north pincer and squeezed the south pincer as best as it could be squeezed.

8 divisions cut off.

The German mech reinforcement had put a damper on my southern pincer.

North final

Ive blunted the Finish cut off attempt.

One trap averted

East of Stalingrad i cut off German roaming infantry.

I know where his tank ss are atm and this area is infantry standoff area. my concern is when train line gets cut to Baku.

At that point supply up the swamp/Volga RR line will become very useless.

SOUTH FINAL

I blunt German mountain units sneak attack across the high mountains.

So the Germans connect the pincers.

A good 1 1/2 weak army units are trapped.

No chance of rescue

It cross country travel boys!

Only 1 or 2 corp of armor here. atm
