Turn 61. Axis. December 19, 1941. Opening Messages.

1. German U-boats sink 61 MPPs headed to Russia and along with Italian subs sink 39 MPPs headed to the UK.

Turn 61. Axis. December 19, 1941. Japanese Surprise Attack on Pearl Harbor.

1. Japan DOWs the US, Dutch East Indies, Philippines and several others.
2. Apparently Japan and Great Britain were already at war.
3. The KB hits the USN fleet at Pearl harbor. They only manage to sink 1 BB and their air groups take a number of losses.
4. Not sure if I did IJN's surprise attack on Pearl right but I don't think it was worth it. The KB would have been better employed elsewhere.

During Pearl Harbor did you set your CVs to Naval/Tactical mode? Those poor results suggest you still had them in fighter mode.

I see no new IJN ships other than the ones already in the queue at scenario start. But the US won't have built any, either. You do need to get a chit into getting Fighters Level 3-falling behind the US in fighter tech can spell disaster.
