Your entire RAAF should be in the UK or in Europe, why are you trying to operate Australian planes to Europe?

They are prevented for a reason, their is this country called Japan and well, they want to conquer Australia. Not sure you are aware of that but hopefully that helps you understand.

Just checked the Russian Anti-Tank in TRP World and their upgrade techs seem fine as well. Anti-Tank raise Light Armor and Armor while Infantry is everything else.

The Australian Air Force is suppose to stay in the Pacific. That is why it is restricted, same goes with the Indian Air Force.

Not sure why you would build Australian Planes and send them to Europe when Japan is knocking at your door! You have plenty of planes you can build in the UK, Canada and South Africa for the European Region.

Just checked the Russian Anti-Tank in TRP World and their upgrade techs seem fine as well. Anti-Tank raise Light Armor and Armor while Infantry is everything else.

BalthazorsStrategicArcana and GamingWithTheColonel are producing another multiplayer match on YouTube of the excellent TRP-World Mod for SC-WaW.
I will be playing Allies and he Axis. If its anything like the last production we played and featured on YT, it could go for 6 months+ with daily turns on each channel.

I'd like them to defend the Pacific, but I can't even get them out of Australia by simply flying (not operating). So all they are doing is sitting around and patroling some waters.
To put into historic context, RAAF squadrons played a big role in Europe and the Med, even after the Japanese entry into the war.
But, it's your map and if you don't like it, it's your decision to keep it. I'm just stating my opinion.

Something differtent:
October 23, 1942, US is at war for quite some time (although very late to the party) but the oil fields in the west are still at 0. Can't believe that is intentional?

Canadian? Yes. Australian? No.

There is absolutely no justification for sending Australian planes to Europe—they belong in the Pacific. Their role is to operate island-to-island, which fits their design and purpose.

The goal shouldn’t be overwhelming the Axis by stacking Canadian, South African, Indian, Australian, and UK units in Europe while ignoring the Pacific.

Sorry, but no.

TRP Europe doesn’t even include these units.

The latest issue I’ve heard is players sending Indian artillery to North Africa. That’s not happening in the next release. That artillery is meant for the Pacific and isn’t even in TRP Europe. It also won’t be available until 1942 in the updated version.

The goal is for strategies in TRP Europe to closely mirror those in TRP World.

As for your question on USA oil fields, you are playing with the older version of TRP. Please upgrade.

The Australian government of the day obviously got it wrong, then. There were 15 fighter squadrons of the RAAF in Europe until the end of the war after the Japanese entered it.

Yup completely! Good thing the game engine does not deal with Squadrons and it gives you the ability to magically move entire airfleepts around the globe in 1 single day.

Hence one of the main reasons for the restrictions!

OK, all joking aside, main reason is balance issues. TRP Europe does not have those units and Europe is balanced. If I allow India and Australian air power to go to Europe it would through things off. It also would encourage allied players to abandon the Pacific and just focus on Europe. Those units really need to stay in the Pacific theater.

Understand. If one of the UK fighter units was named 'RAAF' that would perhaps be enough. Historical realism in a game is often a misnomer, so fun and balance wins in these kinds of debates.

I am intrigued by this MOD and am considering playing a game against the AI. How is the AI in this game, is it good enough to play against at this point or does it need more refining? is it more of challenge to play against Axis or Allies AI? and what should be the settings for an experienced player?
