The front lines haven't changed all that much so I thought I'd just post my moves and show you where my attacks were:

Larry - I'm confused. Why do you have Rifle Corps up facing the Finns when they could be down south participating in offensive operations?

I had originally planned to use those Rifle Corps offensively against the Finns and the CV's for the Finns turned out to be a little bit higher than I had hoped to find.  However, I have no plans to abandon my offensive against the Finns permanently.  Just a postponement for now.

If recon shows it empty, you could try to invade Osipenko (109, 106). Be sure to invade the turn you do recon, since it in itself will tip him of.

If you want to attack the Finns, transport your Rifle Corps to Leningrad, where he has only regiments defending.

But, given that all his armor is off your radar, and is likely to strike somewhere soon, they may serve even better as a reserve for the main front.....

T78: I bought several new Rifle Divisions and Rifle Brigades and left them parked near Leningrad. I'm thinking I can use them to attack the
Finns near Leningrad and maybe push them back far enough to make the Finns abandon the war.

The turn is Dec. 10, 1942 and I probably jumped the gun a little too early with my moves in Northwest Front. I had some stacks of three
and spread them out to flip the hexes and form another front line and comparing the CV's of the enemy units I'm thinking on second
thought that maybe I shouldn't have done that. More people, I need more people there. But I'm out of AP's for this turn so the new
rifle brigades for this area will have to wait until next turn.

I noticed this turn that most of my aircraft groups are now in size 32-at-a-time instead of 20-at-a-time. And there were some
squadrons that came 10 as a full group. I went through the air force disbanding those groups of size 10 to replace them with size
32 squadrons. I'm not sure how much of a difference it'll make but I'm guessing it might have some slight impact on the air war.

It looks like KLilly started a push of his own. So I moved the 3rd Army over to help contain the schrapnel. The 3rd Army is the neon-blue
units.

Those air units of 10 planes sometimes convert over to a regular size unit, on their own.

Your tank fleet looks low.

If you have lots of artillery ( of the right type ) in the pool, consider building artillery divisions.

I did not know that. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm low on AP's right at the moment but I do plan on building a bunch of tank Corps.

Are the right types the 152mm dudes or 122mm dudes? Or something else entirely?

To my surprise KLilly pulled back in a major way in the north. I'm thinking I don't have enough people to sweep the territory and form a
longer front line. Maybe I need to buy some rifle brigades or something.

I blew a hole in the lines but KLilly will be able to fix it I think.

Here's my moves. I ventured out into the area NE of Riga but not very far. Also, I railed in some rifle brigades to help form a new
front line. I did a lot of deliberate attacks and flew a bunch of air base strikes. Reconed a bunch. Anyway, here's how it ended up.

I'm running short of vehicles already. He must have destroyed more vehicle production factories than I thought. Or maybe that's just a
short-term shortfall due to my moving some vehicle factories from where-ever they were to safety. I really can't remember moving some
vehicle factories. I'll look on the production page for clues.

Here's the OOB, losses, destroyed units and production. The production page doesn't show any damaged vehicle factories, but I'm down
to the last 140 factories I had. So I guess I'll be hurting for vehicles for the rest of the game. And that kinda puts the kabosh on the
fielding of vast tank Armies. Oh well. It's going to be a long war.
