The only other possibility I can think of is that he meant to hold that TF up until the KB cleared out, but forgot to stop them. 10/8/42 Unfortunately I just lost one. Some little island in the Pacific, I can't remember its name, couldn't have been too important.

Had a good air to air day. I think most if not all his losses were fighters. My single loss was a searchplane.

Central China He's got about 60k troops across the river with more behind. Ouch.

10/12/42 I botched this. I saw his TF approaching the day before and ordered the KB to close. They would have been 3 hexes away if I had given the order to "remain on station" but I forgot. [:@][:@][:@] I probably would have done much damage and fared better against his fighters. As it is all of his troops will likely have debarked safely.
