Economically, what happens to Oz if you were to destroy all refinery capacity and shut all flow of supplies and fuel from CONUS and then harass or stop supply flow and fuel from South Africa?
They would have a fuel shortage for sure but what about supplies?
Has anyone either been able to do that or been at the receiving end?
All those beautiful Australian actresses would blow up on carbs instead staying lean on meat. [:(]

Ah, but look at the hints of curves and the button line bulging in the right place!

OK, I looked at the Helen Reddy pictures. Santa Maria! I'll be back in a bit. I have to go take care of something. Yeah, that's it.

Still don't know where Admiral Sir Lord SPrior is. Probably being keel-hauled for making fun of officers.

I think SG might have snapped. She's posting in a community blog about the Gypsy woman with kids in tow begging outside of the Pollo Loco. [:D]
I have to admit it is pretty low to make children stand out in the hot sun to boost revenues.

I once took care of the first baby of a Roma family. Those were the happiest two parents I have ever seen. They were like a comedy stand up team. The dad asked if he could pay with gold. [:D]

I re-examined the situation near Fiji. Mouseover intel shows an USN TF 280 nm SE of the IJN carriers. This is allegedly composed of 2 CV's and 6 TK's moving SW.
I initially dismissed this as probable TK's with escorts but I can't work out how that many TK's could arrive at that patch of ocean so quickly unless they departed from Melbourne or Sydney and then were turned around.
Could this TF really be the two USN carriers united?

This brings up an interesting tactical decision. Should we send the 3 carriers south to intercept?
Would the Allies even stick around? We have 187 aircraft aboard and enough torps for at least one attack.
Akagi and Hiryu are about 2 d north of Samoa.
