At this point, ANY day that does not see some form of attack upon the Home Islands is considered a blessing. In this case, we are now three days into peace reigning throughout the Home Isles and I greatly appreciate it. Checked today and saw that my Fighter Production is nearly 50 Frank, Sam, Tony-100, and George a day. Three days of no attacks equates to 150 Fighters produced without any drain on the pools. GOOD!
My small Japanese CV Attack Force just reached Truk and will mosey down to Tulagi before deployment.
The three Heavy CV TFs of Kido Butai arrive at Soerabaja this day. They will wait a day and pick-up two CAs coming off of their upgrade. After that, they shall cover a HUGE Oil/Fuel TF that should depart in 2-3 days. Once escorted out the CVs will head for home. I plan to off-load the aircraft and retire the Carriers to somewhere way up North.
The fighters will augment Kyushu/Honshu while the DB/TB continue training for the Invasion of Japan. If I disband the CVs and leave a few DDs, I could use the CLs, CAs, and Capital Ships to attack the Allied Fleet. This is just a thought at the moment...
What is the repair status of your 2 Battlecruisers recently in action near Shanghai?
CAs upgrading at Soerabaja?! I can't believe your opponent is allowing this (but we'll take it[:D]). Does he have Soerabaja and Singapore with 9/10 detection on most days?
I also remember he allowed Nagato to upgrade at Singapore while there was fighting around Miri.
I would say this means he has little respect for Japanese capabilities at this point with Iowa class et al but with him it seems to be a more singular focus on the objective he currently deems most important. At this point I would expect the allies to have sufficient assets to conduct multiple operations simultaneously. Perhaps that he is not doing this is a credit to where you have whacked him a couple of times.
Sink an xAKL or something - I've got a Tokyo Rose style Banzai locked and loaded for you!

I've been allowed to upgrade EVERYWHERE without much fear. Heck. I just had seven Fleet Carriers upgrade FOR A MONTH in Soerabaja. It was reconned each day. I had 300+ fighters for CAP but any decently large 4EB would have wreaked havoc with my Fleet.
One BC is fully repaired in about 20 days. The other needs over 100. They are both in Yokohoma.
My HOPE is for an attack from a differing axis but no such luck. EVERYTHING (apparently) goes into this assault. Makes sense. I won't fight it so why not...

Unescorted tanker sunk - Banzai!
Good air losses exchange for this point in the war - Banzai!
And one more for good measure - Banzai!
Just doing my bit for the Emperor. Japan needs to squeeze all the fun out of minor victories at this point.
I feel better now.

No real ground excitement.
Am growing concerned that I have not seen a B-29 in nearly a week of turns. Never a good sign. Check all my CAPs at Osaka, Hiroshima, Yokohoma, Tokyo, and Maebishi. Just to be safe...

HUZZAH.
Post Number 15,000!
Idle question for the readers to answer and discuss (will make Dan nervous to see a bunch of Postings!

): If you have a BIG, important turn coming where you KNOW something will occur, what sort of prep do you as a player make? Do you get a favorite beverige? If so, what? Do you put on Battle Music? If so, what? Do you close and lock the door and declare the Man Cave is a no-fly zone?
What do you do?
