Well you said you would bomb them back to the stone age - and Boomerangs are pretty stone-age!

I am fan of the Vengeance, I like the pool numbers, the trick is to keep them away from enemy fighters.

Boomerangs are very useful. Every plane is, but I am shocked at how good they operate as a light bomber. ;)

Even just a few planes can really hit hard against zero defenses....I find it better to attack everywhere, than concentrate and waste effort.

Of course larger attacks do happen, generally I like the heavy beasts to attack City or Infrastructure, while the twin engine bombers do ground support....but sometimes I accidentally select the heavies for ground attacks.

These gunships went in at 100 feet, and they carried a full payload of bombs plus strafing...but I fear their primary skill is low naval and strafing, not low ground.

I think your post about "Why is he doing that?" just highlights the one thing you can never let yourself forget in this game, that the clear picture of your units that you see is not what he sees, and you have to plan accordingly

Scouts out!

Intelligence is the key.

Plan on what the enemy can do and not just what you think that he will do.

Looking to get more and more subs here...not sure where we can stage them to avoid high dls though.

The arrow is our worst case line of advance....split Canton and Hong Kong, bypass both bases for the Amoy coastline ports.

We are prepped for a Formosa invasion....but that would probably bring a response from the KB which I may or may not want right now.

Could you go or feint going to Kukong and Kweilin while having an invasion in the Amoy region? Possibly a combined SST and FT invasion? The next turn, air assaults assisting if the invasion(s) don't actually have to attack the turn of the invasion?

Also, are you trying to move extra/excess Chinese forces from the mountains to help with the push from SE Asia/Indochina? Offensively for some while others could take up blocking positions?

Ranger, that was the point of taking Wuchow...misdirection and also taking the industry there.

I only have two FT APDs....I have some British/Commonwealth Fast Transports (AMC) but one is in drydock and the other on the wrong side of Singers. But taking things by paras is totally doable if there is no garrison which is likely at some of the bases. Will get recon forward soon.

The Chinese Army is moving forward, aggressively, even recklessly depending upon the Corp.

All is good then. So for the Japanese player, it is like that proverbial fecal waste going through that avian :x while it also hits that spinning object that moves the air around. It can and will go anywhere!

Especially any place that has any Industry and Resources!

It took the Allies 22 days to destroy 1,000 Japanese planes....and I want to increase that number. We are setting up for sweeps of Japanese strongpoints like Singers, Hong Kong, etc. Our plan of keeping runways damaged seems to work well too.
