The two units still have almost 11,000 troops between them, but with all their AV destroyed they can't last must longer.

The Kumamoto invasion fleet is putting to sea and will link up with most of the portion of the fleet that has been supporting the Saishu To operation. Tomorrow is forecast rain, so it is very uncertain if the Imperial death gliders will even find the fleet or if our fighters will even find the Imperial death gliders. Landings will commence the day after, accompanied by old USN BB bombardments. The RN/French BBs will bombard Nagasaki/Sasebo to suppress the airfield and small warships in port. Of course those might put to sea upon seeing the fleet tomorrow, but that's what we can do. Two CVE TF are staying to cover shipping at Saishu To until it's fighter strip is built tomorrow.

Air losses. Only in one of the many sweeps did the Empire shoot down some of our fighters over Kochi. Our B-29-25 groups from Hokkaido hit Fusan aerodrome complex very hard. The first raid in was savaged by CAP but made effective bomb runs despite losses. The remaining raids to arrive did not lose any planes. A goodly number of ground kills sweetened the damage done to the air field. The purpose of the strike was to reduce the effectiveness of this well stocked airfield against the upcoming invasion.

No kamikaze or other attacks on the invasion fleet today. All is according to plan (we're doomed), so the landings go in tomorrow at Kumamoto. There are 69,200 defenders with 660 guns and 486 AFV in 22 units awaiting us there. Piece of cake.
