Interesting to see the lightning flashes all over the surface. Given the size of Jupiter, some of those bolts would be 1000 times bigger than anything seen on earth!

Saw a documentary about Auroras a couple of days ago. It showed Aurora crowns on both poles of Jupiter and Saturn. Surprised they were not in that animation fly-past.

Even the ones on Earth are too ethereal to capture on regular video from orbit. The camera settings would have to be pretty particular.

And it would have been most visible over the dark side of Jupiter, which they didn't show much.

They showed the aurora over Jupiter in the documentary I watched on Smithsonian channel. Images from a satellite dedicated to exploring Jupiter for the next decade or so. Of course the aurora only shows up to the naked eye when their is a big enough mass ejection from the sun - a heavier solar wind. The doc also showed the auroras at earth's poles from space. Again, they would have taken the pictures at peak activity.

I would be a good woke Matrix forum member and report this, if I could figure out how. As we all know that in the new spirit of diversity and inclusiveness we must exclude anything that resembles any appreciation of the feminine form. Women, in any facsimile, are no longer allowed!!!!! The War in the Pacific may be cancelled because there were women involved.
