Are we playing Mastermind?
We're talking about Historiker, USS America, Mynok and BrucePowers, Sprior. Do you really think "Mastermind" comes to the fore in descriptors? [:'(]
ETA: KIDDING!
In that case, substitute Mynok for Onime [;)]

How about you save it for my next visit to the Carolina's?! [:D] I've got a favored nephew who lives in Charleston.
If it's Charleston, maybe I need to forward the PM to NCSUforrest, who lives in that area. [:D]
If I make it to SC, it's not that far north to you guys. Lou asked me a little while ago, "Would you ever want to take a vaction where you meet up with as many as your Thread brothers as possible?"!!! [X(] Every day she reminds me why I married her![:D][&o][:D]
Would you belive Friday she took me gun shopping? (birthday and anniversary presents to me!). [:D]

I'm sorry about that...on the other hand, it gives you incentive to visit your Thread brothers who can take you shooting! [:D] Like most hobbies , target practice and skeet shooting are very enjoyable. And I also collect historic weapons (when I find them). A lot of my European and Australian friends don't understand my enjoyment of these hobbies. [:(]

I'd love to go shooting again, I haven't been since the military. Especially, as some here own some pretty fancy guns. I'd love to shoot various machine guns or even one of the privatly owned gatling guns!
Edit:
gatling, not machine
For Christmas this past year, my wife got me some range time with a Bren and a Thompson .45 SMG. Both fully automatic. Lots of fun! [&o]ORIGINAL: AW1Steve

Many of the indoor shooting ranges have among their rental's , submachine guns. I'm not sure how many would have rifle calibur machine guns, but Uzi's,Tommy guns and M-16's are very often available. Such ranges are not common every where (the special licences and background checks are VERY expensive) and some parts of the country are less friendly to fire arms then others, but you should be able to find some ranges where you can at least shoot handguns (rentals) and some rifle ranges.
