So the invasion of Morotai pretty much ends the 2nd phase of the Allies 1944 offensive. Dave was able to prevent me from capturing Obi, Galeia and Ternate with the use of massed transport AC. The most important base was Talaud-eilanden and we were successful there. If we are able to capture Morotai then this 2nd phase of the offensive will have been a success. Im writing off Obi....Dave is still sending reinforcements there via transport AC.... and Im working on a "Plan B" for Ternate and Galeia. But the main objective for me is getting ashore on Mindanao... and thats the 3rd phase of the Allies 1944 offensive.

The Allies lost 2 DD, 2 DE, 4 AK, 3 AO, 1 LST, 1 LCI, 1xAK, 1 SC and 2 PFs last turn. Four Allied ships wee sunk by kamikaze missions. But Japan lost another 550 AC vs Allied losses of 138 AC. In A2A....Japan loses 444 AC vs Allied losses of 52 AC. Individual plane losses include 190 A6M2s, 44 Vals, 56 Nells, 65 Bettys, 25 Oscar IIas, 52 Oscar IIbs, 32 Tojos, 12 Helens, 8 Lilys, 25 Thalias, 45 Topsys, 5 Tonys, 59 Georges, 20 TBM-Cs, 11 P-47D2s and 8 P-38Js. Japan has lost over 2500 AC in the last 2 weeks and even though they can replace their losses the pilot quality has to be going down.

The first Allied strategic bombing mission of the war damages 32 of 41 HI and 10 of 21 refinery points at Bangkok....yet we score no strategic bombing points. Im not sure about the rules here but maybe the Allies dont get strategic bombing points for targets outside of the Home Islands.

You're correct about the Home Islands. Japan scores points for mainland US, Australia, and Pearl Harbor. The Allies only get points for mainland Japan.

With the AF on Morotai 100% damaged and an Allied LRCAP of nearly 400 AC....Dave is unable to fly in significant reinforcements. A shock attack will be ordered next turn.

The 1st Marine Division on Talaud-eilanden will attempt to mop up the remaining Japanese garrison there next turn.

Dave realizes now the threat to the Philippines after the Allies captured Talaud-eilanden. Allied PBYs spot over a score of IJN xAPs and xAKs dropping off reinforcements around Mindanao. In additon....Dave drops a minefield at Talaud-eilanden by air and also bombs the AF there. We already have 2 construction regiments on Talaud-eilanden and will airlift 6 more seabee battalions there via PBYs next turn.

Meanwhile...Fifth Fleet withdraws to Sarmi to refuel, rearm and take on AC replacements. CV Bunker Hill, CVL Cowpens and the 2 damaged CVEs will be sent back to Rabaul for repairs. Their place on the line will be taken by 5 CVEs that are leaving Rabaul this turn for Sarmi.....three of these CVEs are new and 2 were hit by torpedoes in January 1944 off Morotai and here 6 weeks later they are back in action.

Of all the Japanese bases in the Malaccas....Morotai was the most important one to take due to its proximity to the shipping lanes from NW New Guinea to Mindanao. Now we can open the level 4 AF there and we have 2 large forward AFs that will be able to help cover the invasion of Mindanao.

Obi with its level 4AF will eventually be abandoned and we will neutralize the AF there by air. Its position to the south of the Malaccas now makes it irrelevant now that Im almost done with the Malacca campaign. Ternate and Galeia and their level 4 AFs are still held by the Japanese but Im developing a plan B to try to gain control of them. Lolobato and its level 5 AF will be bypassed and again neutralized by Allied bombers.

Fifth Fleet continues to rearm and complete minor repairs off Sarmi as we wait for the 5 CVEs to join them next turn.

FIFTH FLEET: CALM BEFORE THE STORM

Fifth Fleet completes refueling. rearming and taking on replacements at Sarmi and heads back NW to Sansopar. Fifth Fleet now has 9 CVs, 6 CVLs and 23 CVEs so she can put more fighters in the air than ever before.

CV Bunker Hill reaches port at Rabaul and commences repairs. Even with 2 torpedo hits....she only has 32 SYS and 30 FLT....she has been repairing SYS damage all the way back from the Moluccas. She is in critical pierside repair mode now to repair her SYS damage....that will take 14 days and then she will sail to Pearl harbor to repair her FLT damage...that will probably take 5-6 weeks. CV Yorktown...torpedoed in January 1944 off Manokwari...will complete her repairs at Pearl Harbor in 10 days and she will rejoin Fifth Fleet. CVL Cowpens will reach Sydney in 2 turns and it will probably take about a month to repair her damage.

The most important Allied AF in the Pacific is the level 6 AF at Talaud-eilanden. Dave tried to shut her down again last turn with his bombers but Allied CAP was up to the challenge:

I wanted to send a surface TF to Talaud -eilanden to protect it from an IJN naval bombardment TF but Dave laid a minefield there so I have to wait a turn for Allied minesweepers to clear the hex. I staged in about 150 fighters and also a VMSB squadron so hopefully if Dave tries to send in a naval bombardment TF the SBDs get him first.

Ive shut down all the heavy bombers of Fifth Air Force so that they can rest up for the next phase of the Allied offensive. This Japanese airstrike originated from Lolobato in the Moluccas and also from Namlea to the south. I will use Fifth Air Force medium and tac bombers to shut down as many Japanese AFs in the area as possible.

The 2nd most important Allied base in the Pacific is Morotai but the AF there has 100% damage. PBYs are flying in seabees and a couple of amphib TFs are bringing in construction regiments. I need the Morotai and Talaud-eilanden AFs for land based fighters to cover the next phase of the Allied 1944 offensive.

I staged a PBY squadron into Talaud-eilanden and now we can patrol over 90% of the Philippine archipelago. That PBY squadron will also recon Manila and I believe there is a lot of important IJN shipping there. Allied subs continue to mass both west and east of Mindanao to interdict potential KB sorties.

The seabees and construction engineer regiments are able to repair all the damage on the level 5 AF and it is completely re-opened. The minefields at Talaud-eilanden are swept and an Allied surface TF will be sent there next turn to prevent an IJN naval bombardment of the AF.

Menwhile.....Fifth Air Force rests the heavy bombers but turns loses hundreds of tac and medium bombers to hit Japanese airfields on Gebe, Kofiau, Ambon, Namlea and especially the level 6 AF at Lolobato. By the end of the turn... five more Japanese AFs are heavily damaged and Japan loses another 87 AC in A2A combat vs 8 Allied AC and another 10 Japanese AC are destroyed on the ground.

I dont have enough bombers to shut down all the Japanese AFs in the DEI and the Philippines so I will start using bombardment TFs to help close the myriad Japanese AFs.

An IJN TK TF is spotted in the Celebes Sea heading for Balikpappan.....its course is dangerously close to Allied SBD and B-25D1 search radii. Dave is either sending the TKs to Balikpappan to load fuel to take back to Japan or its shipping fuel to Balikpappan to help refuel at least a portion of Combined Fleet. More PBYs and recon bombers are sent over Balikpappan to see whats there.

CV Hornet II completes its traverse of the Panama Canal and heads out across the south Pacific. CVE Saginaw Bay is completed at Portland and heads out across the north Pacific to the war zones.

Ammo storage explosion on CVE Wake Island

CVE Wake Island managed to extinguish the fires and remains in pierside repair at Noemfoor but she is now so heavily damaged that I have a repair estimate of 475 days in critical pierside at the level 3 port there just to fix her SYS and minor FLT damage.....another words.....she is basically out of the war.

Fifth Fleet will leave port in Sarmi next turn and will rendezvous just off Morotai before we begin the next phase of the 1944 offensive. I still have a lot of Japanese AFs to neutralize. I staged Fifth Air Force bombers into our newest front line AFs at Morotai and Talaud-eilanden and now will bomb crowded level AFs deep in the rear of Japan at Baybay(near Leyte) and balikpappan. Fifth Air Force will also bomb the crowded level 4 AF at Donggala and also level 4 Japanese AFs at Galeia, Ternate, Obi, Namlea, Ambon, Siace, Mangole and Kendari. An Allied bombardment TF will naval bombard the level 4 AF at Sangi.

The large Allied supply convoy gets through to Rangoon without incident and begins unloading over 100,000 supply points.

Tenth Air Force and the RAF switch targets to Tavoy and bomb resources there after laying waste to Bangkok.

Dave bombs out Kukong AF to denude it off supplies and begins massing a large army just outside....looks like this will be the site of the next Japanese offensive in China.

FIFTH AIR FORCE

Tac and medium bombers strike Ambon, Namlea, Siace, Ternate, Galeia, Gebe and Baybay while heavy bombers pound Donggala and Balikpappan. Japan loses over 90 AC on the ground.....more importantly....over a half dozen Japanese squadrons are disrupted with morale issues including A6M2, Kate, Jill, Val, Nell, Sally and Lily squadrons.

At the end of the turn....level 4 AFs in the region are heavily damaged including Siace(67%), Galeia(71%), Ternate(48%), Ambon(100%), Namlea(60%), Donggala(66%), Balikpappan(40%) and Baybay(46%). And of course the level 6 AF at Lolobato is still 100% damaged. In addition....an Allied bombardment TF naval bombards the level 4 AF at Sangi leaving it heavily damaged.

FIFTH FLEET

Adm Draemel's amphib TF will invade at Manado next turn. Mighty Fifth Fleet...now with 9 CVs, 7 CVLs and 24 CVEs...will standby just off Manado to cover the invasion forces.

Dave is fully expecting us to go back on the offensive but he is expecting the blow to fall on Mindanao. Dave has a defense in depth with multiple layers of mutually supporting AFs the length of the Philippine archipelago. We cant even begin to knock out all the Japanese AFs... but we will consolidate our gains from the 2nd phase of the offensive...in the Malaccas before we charge into the Philippines. If we dont attack exactly where Dave expects I hope to draw in his naval airstrikes piecemeal and heavily attrition them before we conduct the main landings on Mindanao.

The Allied supply convoy at rangoon drops off over 100,000 supplies and will head back towards Akyab and then Karachi next turn to reload.

After flattening Bangkok, Ayuthia and Tavoy via city bombing...Tenth Air Force and the RAF will hit Mergui next turn.

The first USAAF B-29 Superfortress squadron reaches Rangoon this turn and it will city bomb Singapore next turn.... I want to spread out the Japanese air defenses in SE Asia as much as possible.

FIFTH FLEET ON THE OFFENSIVE

No Japanese aerial response to the Allied invasion at Manado. The Australian 3rd and 8th Brigades land safely at Manado and heavily outnumber the defenders:

Fifth Air Force hammers Japanese level four AFs across the region. Tac bombers shut down level 2 AF at Gebe and a level 4 AF at Namlea. Medium bombers shut down level 4 Japanese AFs at Galeia,Siaoe, Obi and Baybay and heavily damage the level 4 AF at Ternate. Medium and heavy bombers shut down the level 4 AF at Kendari and heavily damage Mangole and Balikpappan. The level 6 AF at Lolobato is still shut down. Japan loses 82 AC this turn vs Allied losses of 33 AC with another 30 Japanese AC destroyed on the ground.

Bombardment TFs shut down Sorong.

The Allied invasions in February 1944 failed to capture Obi, Galeia and Ternate as Dave was able to reinforce these bases via air transport AC despite the presence of very heavy Allied LRCAP. Im writing off Obi as it is positioned so far to the south of the sea lanes to the Philippines that its become irrelevant. I mentioned earlier that I was going to come up with a plan B for Galeia and Ternate and this turn we began to execute it. There is an empty dot hex exactly between Galeia and Ternate called Djailolo. . I paradropped the 503rd Paratroop Regiment on Djailolo this turn but as luck would have it I captured Djailolo by osmosis just before the paratoops landed. Next turn....Fifth Fleet will cover the landings of 3 SWPAC divisions on Djailolo and they will march overland to take both Ternate and Galeia. Dave can air transport as many reinforcements as he wants at these 2 bases but it wont make a difference anymore.

I was surprised that Dave didnt order any airstrikes against Fifth Fleet this turn off Manado. Perhaps Dave is saving his air forces for the big assault on Mindanao.

We will be invading Mindanao in a couple of turns. Dave has level 4 AFs at Davao and Maylaybalay that Fifth Air Force will be targeting next turn. I just spotted a level 5 AF at Surigao and will recon it this turn so we can bomb it on the following turn.

Two more CVEs and a BB will join Fifth Fleet off Djailolo next turn so we now have 9 CVs, 6 CVLs, 26 CVEs and 19 BBs.

CVL Cowpens has reached the shipyards at Sydney and has an estimate of 23 days to repair her remaining torpedo damage. CV Bunker Hill has an estimate of 10 days to repair her SYS damge at Rabaul and then she will head for the shipyards at Pearl to repair her 30 FLT damage....that will take 5-6 weeks. CV Essex....hit by 2 torpedoes off Manokwari in January 1944...finally reaches Rabaul this turn with 2 SYS 63 FLT 4 ENG. I will wait for CV Bunker Hill to leave for Pearl and then she will go in an ARD for critcal ship repair...that will take less tan 90 days to repair her FLT damage.

CV Yorktown will complete repair of her torpedo damage suffered off Manokwari in January 1944 next turn. She will join a newly arriving CVL from the Panama Canal and head out to meet Fifth Fleet.

CA Chikuma was torpedoed a few turns ago off Balikpappan but the Intel screen now says that she succumbed to her damage off Semarang far to the SW.

The brand new B-29-1 Superfortress goes into action for the 1st time in a long range city bombing of HI at Singapore. Seven points of HI are damaged at Singapore.

Next turn Tenth Air Force will city bomb LI at Saigon. The bombers will be going in unescorted as Allied fightwers dont have sufficient range.

FIFTH FLEET ON THE OFFENSIVE

FIFTH FLEET safely unloads nearly 3 divisions at Djailolo.

Fifth Air Force hammers the Japanese garrison on Manado and also completely knocks out the Japanese level 4 AFs at Ternate, Sangi, Davao and Malaybalay. Dave still has an opearational level 5 AF on Mindanao at Surigao so the medium bombers on Talaud-eilanden are ordered to knock it out. Meanwhile....an inordinate number of Fifth Air Force medium and heavy bombers will be tasked with knocking out the level 4 AF on Babeldaob. Dave has nearly 200 fighters and bombers on Babeldaob and Im sure they are positioned to deliver a naval airstrike against Fifth Fleet.

Allied PBYs and float plane transports will begin airlifting seabees and construction engineers into Manado next turn to get the level 4 AF there repaired and operational. Now that we have captured Talaud-eilanden and Manado...the Malaccas are isolated and cut off from the rest of Japanese held DEI.

Fifth Fleet....currently positioned just NW of Djailolo....will invade at Mindanao next turn. Adm Hill's amphib TF will land over 3 divisions at Dadjangas in the largest Allied amphib operation to date. One CVE TF with 7 CVEs will detach from Fifth Fleet to cover the landings. The remainder of Fifth Fleet will standby just to the east of Dadjangas.

Dave sent a group of small IJN carriers...probably 4-5 CVLs/CVEs to a position 10 hexes of the northern coast of New Guinea to hit Allied shipping:

I think that this is just a diversion..... Dave is trying to get me to split up my carrier forces and possibly delay the invasion of Mindanao. I staged over 200 SBD-5s, TBFs and B-25D1s to Sarmi, Hollandia and Dagua. If Dave's carriers stay anywhere near the northern coast of New Guinea next turn he will lose them.

Ive heavily damaged/knocked out as many Japanese level 4 AFs in the DEI and the Philippines as I could and now I have a small window of opportunity to get ashore on Mindanao before the AFs can be repaired. Dave still has many more level 4 AFs to the north of Mindanao in the Philippines but the deep Allied bombing missions have caused Dave to pull the bulk of his air forces back to the Luzon. If I can get safely ashore at Dadjangas next turn it will be the beginning of the end for Japan on Mindanao.... and that will be the beginning of the end for Japan in the Philippines.

Strangely....there is virtually no Japanese aerial response to the invasion at Dadjangas. Maybe the Allied airfield bombing campaign forced Dave to pull back his naval attack squadrons out of range of Allied bombers. As far as KB is concerned....I wouldnt be surprised if Dave is holding them out of action until the new version of the Judy arrives in April 1944. The new Judy has an 8 hex range and if Dave positions KB just right he could launch a full strike on Fifth Fleet and be out of range of an Allied counter strike. Holding the IJN carriers out of action would also allow Dave to train up his pilots as KB took grievous losses in A2A combat during the Naval Battle of the Moluccas last month.

This almost makes me wonder if the turn of Fifth Fleet to the north to Mindanao after landing troops at Djailolo caught Dave by surprise.

Fifth Fleet has now landed over 7 divisions in a period of 3 turns at Manado, Djailolo and Dadjangas without suffering significant damage. I think that its time now for Fifth Fleet to retire and pick up more reinforcements for the Mindanao campaign.

The 3 1/2 divisions of Sixth Army will shock attack next turn at Mindanao.

Ive got probably over 50 AC on naval search and oved 60 AC on naval attack at Rangoon but I still dont spot the IJN bombardment TF either coming or going. Im going to bomb every port withinn a 10 hex radius of Rangoon next turn in case the IJN surface TF is hiding out.

Sixth Army will immediately begin marching on Davao.

Fifth Fleet will make it back to port at Sansopar to reload and refuel this turn and next. Im assembling the reinforcement TFs for Mindanao now at Sansopar. The first reinforcement TF with about 2-3 divisions and seabees, construction engineers and BFs will leave Sansopar for Dadjangas in 2 turns. Another larger reinforcement TF with 4 plus divisions will be assembled at Darwin and Rabaul and will leave Sansopar for Danjangas in about 10-12 days.

Dadjangas AF and port are 100% damaged after all the naval bombardments so im beginning to fly in seabees and construction engineers this turn via float transports and PBYs. Dadjangas is the most dangerous AF to Japan now so Im sure that Dave will try to heavily bomb it next turn. Talaud-eilanden just enlarged to a level 6 AF this turn so I will use it to massively LRCAP Dadjangas.

Manado is now open for business and just enlarged to a level 5 AF as did the AF at Morotai.

The 3 divisions landed at Djailolo 2 turns ago continue to march on the level 4 Japanese AF at galeia and the level 6 AF at Lolobato. One of the Aussie brigades at Manado marches on the level 4 Japanese AF at Gorontalo. Eventually we will have air superiority over the SLOC between New Guinea and Mindanao if we capture enough Japanese AFs.

Meanwhile...Im shutting down Fifth Air Force for awhile as its reached the point of exhaustion. Im not able to continue to suppress the Japanese AFs that are already closed let alone shut down any new AFs. The operational tempo of the last few weeks has left the heavy bomber squadrons with maybe 20% of the AC still available for ops while the medium bombers have maybe 60% of their AC operational. We were able to completely shut down the level 4 Japanese AF at Babeldaob last turn but the 75 P-38J and F4U-1A sweepers didnt fly until after the bombing missions went in and many of the heavy and medium bombers were shot down or damaged. The Allies lose about 100 Ac this turn vs Japanese losses of about 50 AC.

Im going to try to bring in as much materiel and combat formations and support troops to Dadjangas as possible before all the Japanese AFs in the area can repair. Im pretty happy that we didnt suffer heavy losses in the initial landings at Dadjangas but I expect a larger aerial response when we return.

I was mistaken about the new Judy model that arrives in April 1944....the D4Y2...it still has a max range of 7 hexes. The Judy with the 8 hex range......D4Y3... isnt available until August 1944 although Im sure it will be accelerated by R & D.

FIFTH FLEET ON THE OFFENSIVE: INVASION MINDANAO

Aliied TFs with construction engineers, BFs and troop reinforcements massed at Sansopar and next turn will rendezvous at Morotai. The following turn they will sail at full speed to drop everyone off at Dadjangas.

With the arrival of CVE Shah this turn at Sansopar i reorganized the CVEs into 4 air combat TFs of 7 CVEs each. The CVEs can now put over 600 fighters in the air. I feel confident enough of this force that they will act independently from the fast carriers of Task Group 58.....although he last time I felt confident enough to operate the CVEs independently I had 13 of 14 CVEs sunk/damaged in July 1943 off Dobo.

I dont want Dave to be able to mass everything he has between KB and his land based air forces on Dadjangas so I am splitting off the fast carriers some 250 miles due east of the CVEs. I also put a dummy amphib TF and some surface TFs with the fast carriers to give Dave some concern that I might actually be invading Pelielu, Babeldaob or even the east coast of Mindanao. Dave had heavy naval search last turn over the northern coast of New Guinea....the farther I advance the longer and more exposed my SLOC is from the Philippines back to Rabaul. Dave sent in some CVEs/CVLs to raid Allied shipping off the northern coast of New Guinea a few turns ago so the fast carriers are also positioned to give Dave pause before he attempts another carrier raid.

We had a large air battle last turn over Dadjangas as expected. The Japanese lost 115 Ac in A2A combat vs 28 Allied AC. However....Dave not only tried to bomb the AF at dadjangas but he sent Vals in to mine the port. I have AMs/DMSs/YMSs on the move to Dadjangas to clear the harbor before the reinforcement TFs arrive.

I had nearly 200 fighters on Talaud-eilanden LRCAP Dadjangas and another 150 fighters on Morotai LRCAPed talaud-eilanden. In the confusion I forgotr to LRCAP a TF unloading supplies at Galeia:

The fast carriers of Fifth Fleet stand by off Talaud-eilanden and launch repeated TBF airstikes on Peleliu ....inflicting 50% damage on the AF there.

Japanee AFs at Davao, Malaybatay and Surigao are still out of action and next turn Allied medium bombers based at Talaud-eilanden will target the level 4 AF at Cotabato.

The Japanese troops outside of Davao withdraw before we can launch an attack. Sixth Army will now split up its advance and will simultaneously drive on Cotabato, Davao and Malaybatay. It appears as if Dave is ceding control of the coastal bases on Mindanao to me as he concentrates his defenses in the rough terrain at Davao and Malaybatay Perhaps the Japanese will make mountainous Malaybatay their final redoubt on Mindanao.

Reinforcements from both II Australian Corps and SWPAC load up at both Darwin and Rabaul and should reach Mindanao in another week. Another 4 US tank battalions will be offloaded at Dadjangas next turn. Mindanao will feature the largest concentration of US Army armored formations to date as we finally invade a large land mass with roads and clear terrain where mobility will be critical.

Newly arrived CV Wasp II and CVL Bataan stand by off Rabaul along with newly repaired CV Yorktown as they cover the loading of SWPAC reinforcements bound for Mindanao. Brand new CV Hornet II will join them next turn and when they join up with Fifth Fleet we will have 12 CVs and 7 CVLs available for fast carrier operations.

END OF 1ST QTR 1944: ALLIED REPORT CARD

I had originally hoped to advance on a broad front with II Australian Corps, SWPAC and SOPAC to invade the Philippines. SWPAC was to take the NW corner of New Guinea and then invade the Moluccas and Talaud-eilanden before invading Mindanao. II Australian Corps was to cover the left flank of the advance into the Moluccas by taking the remainder of Timor, Ambon and Koepang and Misool before assisting SWPAC in the invasion of the Moluccas. SOPAC was to cover the right flank of the SWPAC advance by taking Japanese bases in the Carolines and Paulaus.

Once it became apparent that Dave had heavily reinforced his frontline bases and that the rear bases were much less heavily defended the offensive became more of a schwerpunkt with a very narrow thrust directly into Mindanao by both SWPAC and II Australian Corps. SOPAC invasions were postpones and II Australian Corps invasions of Dili, Lautem, Amon and Koepang were cancelled. II Australian Corps did take Misool and Manado.....both very important bases for current and future operations.

Now that we are already in the Moluccas and even beyond into Mindanao the former II Australian Corps objectives on Timor, Ambon and Koepang are becoming increasing irrelevant. In fact, II Australian Corps troops prepped for these cancelled objectives will instead be sent to reinforce Mindanao. The Allied left flank is already established with bases at Boela, Misool, Moluccas, Morotai and Manado. The II Australian Corps assault into Obi will be written off and the troops eventually evacuated while we have heavily reinforced the Moluccas and still hope to take 2 of the 3 Japanese bases at Ternate, Galeia and Lolobato.

The Allies are currently loading up another 5 divisions for the next reinforcement of Mindanao.... that will give us a total of 10 divisions on that island. Another 8 SWPAC divisions are prepping for Luzon and additional troops are prepping for the central and western Philippines.

Once we have completed the 5 division reinforcement of Mindanao it will eventually become a US and Australian army affair and Fifth Fleet will be released to cover the SOPAC offensive into the Carolines and Paulaus to cover the right flank of our advance into the Philippines.

Once again the Japanese armor has just too much mobility for us to defend against it everywhere.

A newly arriving East African division has been unloaded at Rangoon. As soon as it marches to Moulmein we will launch another assault. RN cruisers will begin to naval bombard Moulmein to soften it up. All of Tenth Air Force and the RAF have been resting and will be a full strength to ground bomb Moulmein when we attack. Another convoy with 100,000 plus supplies arrives at Akyab and it will be sent to Rangoon next turn.
