Yeah was thinking about it, will see what I can get in there. All of them allready have 3 SUs each so nothing more to spend points on at this time.

corps can add 18 units. the 3 extra units the 3 divisions in one hex doesnt count for that.


i would relocate all heawy armours and heawy tank destoyers to the best morale pz divs and allocate 3 to each of them.
additonly i would attacks many AT and stug and arty units (18) to the corps defending each hex in berlin

hex 1 --corp1- 18 support units- 3 strong PZ divisions with 3 strong support units each
hex 2--corp2-18 support units -3 strong PZ divisions with 3 strong support units each
hex 3--corp3-18 support units -3 strong PZ divisions with 3 strong support units each

hex 4,5,6 pz regs and brigades belonging to corp 1,2,3 in reserve mode

or mayby make corp 1,2,3 6 support units each and move them into same army and add at least 12 units to that army.

Keep on plugging away........the Fat lady hasn't started to sing just yet.

I'd be sending all my best PanzerGrenadiers to Berlin, each loaded with SUs, and Korps HQs loaded as well.

Terje, maybe you can provide a screenie or two of some examples of how you've got your units deployed/beefed up and what you have in HQs?

And hey, at least your turn-around time for game turns is probably pretty quick at this point! Gotta think of the positives [;)]

The thing ofc is;
if I take my panzers away from the front, the front will crumble, and when the front crumbles, Berlin will be surrounded, so I can only count on the three hexes IN Berlin, nothing around it...

Overall
The first USSR attack on Berlin is repulsed with ease, but that was no proper attack, and probably just Oloren spending some MPs hoping he got lucky enough to reduce the fortification levels of the city. All in all, most of the USSR attacks was repulsed this turn.
10 attacks were made, 8 were held and 2 ended in our forces retreating. Moreover, those retreats were on the edges of our still exisiting line, so no big loss really.
We are however scraping the barrell for whatever remains, apart from airframes anf Tigers, that is not much really...

Germany : 31.000 troops, 695 guns, 182 AFVs, 26 AC.

Overall
Well, the USSR keep pushing at Berlin with successive attacks, and although we hold, our forts do not...
Not a good turn, and tbh it is a turn that shows just how fragile the front really is as the USSR push aside our defenders in one hex and pour some units through the gap, We once more manage to reform the line, but this is starting to become a landslide I am afraid.
The 13 USSR attacks resulted in 7 helds and 6 retreats, while our attack scored a retreat.
