I keep tinkering with my team [8|] - call me Ranieri.....
It's so difficult first game of the season as you have no idea who the manager is going to pick in many cases. I am sure my team will change at least half a dozen times more between getting up and 11:30 am [;)]
My problem is that I sleep at days and get up in the evening, so I can change stuff UNTILL about 10, but after that I am at the managers mercy

It's almost as much about guessing correctly who makes the team. Last year Zabaleta was a regular in my team - won me some great points - but will he even start today? Sagna was not bought to sit on the bench all season. The goalkeeping situation is really bad - Hart or Caballero, Szczesny or Ospina, Cech or Courtois!

I was lucky. I replaced Sanchez with Ramsey in the last minute to save some cap space.

Indeed! [:)]
There's a looooong way to go yet.
It would be nice if someone from the Matrix League got somewhere in the cup too this year - our collective performance last year was absolutely rubbish [&:]

Hmm, I am starting to think you guys are playing with your mind and not your heart [:D]
Felt pretty sure Liverpool would lose this match, but still...
Nah, kept my Liverpool guys nontheless

I've never understood that approach - it's like betting on your team to win. If you bet the other way and your team win then hey - its worth the money! and if your team lose, then at least there is some financial compensation for the loss [:)]
Mind you, I had Dier in my team for much of the pre-season - but took him out as I wanted to stay true to my decision not to have Spurs players in my team [&:] Two goals and two clean sheets later, that looks like a bad decision [8|]

I got taken by Spurs last season and didn't want to do it again.
Except i was going to take a chance on the goalkeeper.
Didn't though.
Suffered.

Just one change for me - replacing the injured Giroud for Jovetic. Was hoping Costa couldn't play but sounds like he's recovered from injury - and I still can't afford him [:@]

replacing the injured Giroud
That was who I was gonna change for Özil, so not playing Özil, and fielding a player that will not play...
And then Agger leaves for Brøndby [:(]
Atleast both Manchester teams lost points today

Falcao to Man Utd (on loan) [X(][X(] A big signing, but probably not the right one.

Will there be a "unofficial Matrix Games fantasy football league" this season?
I am feeling eager to join in.
