Wondering if it's time to give up on ever seeing this mod.
Currently using the Starfall mod for the time being, but would be great to see a dedicated research tree overhaul mod actually get finished.
Any word on other efforts being worked on?

Lurchi has not logged in since October 18th so I really doubt anything has progressed, I hope that nothing has happened in his life to make him suddenly drop of the planet like he has
With that said do not expect this mod to be complete at all, it is dead IMO, I think Lurchi was the only one with the mod files since he never uploaded his latest work so no one else could continue the mod.

Yeah I've been worried about the guy. I wish there were some way of finding out if he's ok.

Hey all, I've been away involuntarily dealing with major issues in my life that have mostly been resolved now.. I was hoping Lurchi would have this done by the time I came back so I could "finish" DWO...has anyone heard from him? Are there any issues with the mod atm?

Yeah I was taking a look at that and I'm intrigued, are there many issues? I saw it was at Ver. 0.7 and I asked about it and no one has made a response yet.

I have not had any issues with it, it is a decent mod but it can be a bit overwhelming on the amount of resources at times.

Perhaps if I sacrifice a goat Lurchi will come back. (It's really too bad he's gone, I just read that the last patch actually did what he needed and increased the tech limit to 1500 :\)

At which point I think he started thinking of new things to add to the tech tree and expand the scope of the mod yet again. :p
