Japanese resume their air attacks at Djambi, the ancestral home of two overrated baseball brothers.

The allies are flying in infantry and aviation support from Batoe-elanden. We fly in fresh fighter squadrons which get shot up but pay it back to the attacking Japanese medium bombers and escort fighters. After about 2 days you withdraw the shot up squadron, lather, rinse and repeat.

Yes, that is the plan. Br 72 Brig is embarked and prepped for Medan..although they will have to wait until sufficient naval forces are ready. Aus 16 Brig trying to push in from the SE

Do carriers recover sortie points from an AO replenishment TF at sea or do I need AE's in the TF or do I need to go back to port in 8-43?

In other words is it just Av Gas or ammo too that is included in sortie points?

A size 7 airfield for sure. There might be cases with smaller airfields (Alfred!).

AE's doing underway replenishment: I hope so. I'm in December 1944 so I'll find out soon.

Wow..so it's the AF size that determines the ability of a base to replenish sorties? Presumably the carrier also has to be able to go into port. I will send Wasp and the CVE back to Dobo and see what happens.

Level 8 AF, level 4 port and 330 naval support. That should work

Port size, not AFs. AEs/AKEs will replenish sorties which should also be considered ammo, torpedoes, rockets, and bombs. There is no separate "fuel" for AVGAS as that is considered supply. I mean, talk about Japanese rice burning aircraft . . .
