Why don't I get any tactical/strategic advice?! You anti-nazis! Racists!
Anyways, the thing with interdiction is that it works...for a few strikes. After that I can move my fighters and AA around a bit and the end result is a massive amount of destroyed soviet planes, and the rest in re-org. And then there's the 'ugly trick' of massing entire fighter armada to one spot, out of the range of his fighters, and then moving for example 1 Korps HQ on rail around that route...As said it's an ugly trick though.
But given Larry's air superiority and amount planes...well I'd probaply go for it.
BUT
The planes ARE making a huge difference in combat as well. I've had plenty of attacks defeated by air power.

Turn 96, The Moscow Offensive:
As can be seen the flanks are starting to give in. What you don't see is that most of the units on the flanks were driven back 2-3 hex this turn(perhaps forcing them to re-org or routed status), and most of them are on red supply. I actually had a kradskutzcshe-whatever-recon unit take two hexes this turn and in the process defeat about 20 different units. And it was the only unit participating in these attacks(apart from arty of course)...100% supply works wonders against 10% supply.
Anyways, Larry can still probaply fix the situation, so that an all-out breakthrough is not possible. However in 1-3 turns I expect a serious brekathrough towards Moscow. Unless I get another random early turn ending which is what I suspect will happen.

And here's another offensive I started last turn. Main objective is to tie down Soviet units, and I suspect it's gonna tie down quite a bunch of them:
Now the reason I attacked here was that Larry made Leningrad such a fortress. No point trying to advance there...from here I can threathen both Leningrad and Moscow...and most imporantly the Moscow Front can be encircled...well that is if this offensive ever amounts to anything more than a minor breakthrough.

Karri I'll help ya but first I need more pzd's back in France for the whine tasting contest!!! I notice you are killing lots of his HRS's now. I also note that you have lots of regts in the 10 or 11 combat factor range. You aren't hurting as much as you indicate you are.

I already sent the luftwaffe there, is nothing enough?

That's because I hardly ever attack with infantry regiments. They're there only for defense and exploit...the reason being that they have a lot of heavy rifle squads and I can't really afford to lose many of those. I think I'm about 4000 down in those since the start of the offensive.

My front line is starting to buckle and next turn it could break. He could be in Moscow in about 5 - 7 turns.

Marshal Fulkerson, Comrade Stalin has ordered you to protect Moscow at all costs, even if you must lose Leningrad!

Karri has dropped some paratroops behind my lines and as a result has made a significant breakthrough. I'm not really sure I can put a plug in this hole. He may go all the way this time.

He also blasted a series of sizable holes in my lines to the South of Leningrad. This I think, is the beginning of the end for Leningrad.
