Hi
You make good point but i feel it might be a bit early for a change of settings.
Giving that Russians are only 300 to 400 miles from Moscow its still under a bit of threat

The End Of The Soviet Union
Well finally its over, not that there was any doubt of Victory, but I enjoyed crushing The Soviets and driving them back into the interior of Russia.
Decimating there Army and achieving my objectives :
Capturing Leningrad

Capturing Moscow

Capturing The Caucasus ( the main prize ) and stopping the Western Allies defeating the Axis in North Africa.

Had I had access to Iran in this alternative time line I could not see the Allies stopping me from linking up with Rommel.

Turn 94 Facts and Figures
This was The Soviets last turn so its not much different from the previous one.

- Air losses 94.jpg (392.2 KiB) Viewed 1788 times

Thoughts On The Game
Well as I had said a number of times throughout once Moscow was reached and units placed near the city it really destroyed any real chance of the AI making any serious threat against me.
Still by late 1942 and early 43 there units were starting to get stronger, had Moscow not been taken and losses not so high they could have been a real tough to beat.
Don't Think I am ready to up the difficulty level just yet for my future games, but I may play a 41 campaign where by I leave Moscow alone and see what happens.
Whats Next
I am looking at playing the " Stalingrad To Berlin " played it once maybe twice with WITE1 so this could be a actual serious challenge, so again wont be changing the AI levels.
Also there will be a surprise twist to this Campaign, hopefully making the challenge fun.
OK well enough ramblings by me, for those who managed to stay awake reading this AAR thanks hope you enjoyed.
regards

I think you will like StB, the front line is a lot different from what you would typically get in a GC, which means units are more spread out and provides different sorts of challenges. Also the armies do not start off optimized like they would by this point in a GC. However, playing it single player, I am no sure what the AI will do, it might withdraw from places it should not.
