My virus protection software just had a major upgrade.  I think that's it. Any suggestions?

I went to trend Micro web site. Click on the link and see if the bottom answer will work (I use Norton so this is a guess). Failing that try to turn it off from the Microcillin control panel while you run WITP. I would only do this last one if you are behind a hardware firewall (I have a router between me and the modem.

If turning off the virus protection will solve the problem, remove it entirely and get AVG (the free version) or some other antiviral software. (Download AVG (or whatever) first - disable internet - install AVG - re-enable internet.)

Of course, there is a chance it could have screwed up your WITP installation...[:(]

Faber, I just sent you PM about the turn. I think Mike is out of commision. I have not heard from him since his plea for help.

Hi guys.  I'm back.  I had drill this weekend.  If you haven't done my part give me a minute to try something.  I have WitP installed on my  external HD (remnants of my old laptop).  I'll get right back to you.

Nope, not working. [:@]  Bruce, if you can work my part, I'd appreciate it while I try to fix this mess.

I think it screwed up WitP.  It doesn't work from my external HD either.  What do you guys suggest?  I don't think copying WitP from the external HD to the computer will work. [:(]

Here's what I found. Can anyone decipher this or tell me how to undo it (if it's possible)?
