My son and his wife are expecting their second child, but here six weeks early she has been in and out of the hospital, currently in under observation, and of course they are half the country away....so my game pace has slowed down this past week. Just got off a turn, hope I didn't make too many mistakes. Normally this is where I get hammered.

Sorry to hear this. I hope your daughter-in-law and her baby come through just fine. I wouldn't worry about keeping this up while you have real concerns like that.
Cheers,

Will combine our small task forces into larger ones to protect against surface raiders....not much IJA forces at Ningpo, Chuisen, Wenchow etc...if our tanks can move fast enough, before some of the IJA destroyed divisions respawn at Tokyo I should be able to get quite a bit closer to Honshu.

My wishes as well for a good outcome.
Real life comes first. If you have to slow down your game, just let your opponent know if you have not done so. This AAR is the least of your concerns. Take care and again, best wishes.

More good progress, Chinese coastline bases are almost all ours now. Our repair ships are moving forward, and it seems like steady supply moving.

First Kamikaze strike today...
You might want to check that date

since the date that you posted and the date on the picture are different.
I wonder how much more damage that the kamikaze did compared to a Judy with a bomb hit. Although for older aircraft, it might be a good way to use up the planes.

I was trained to be observant!

Other things with that job were fun!
One time, I received a letter from a government worker dated on a certain date which referenced a meeting that occurred the next day.

I showed it to someone, she did not see what was wrong

with the letter until I pointed out the date of the letter and the date of the meeting.

The postmark on the envelope was also a day before the meeting!
