Well the mystery is over
German PzJgr 38s were the hedge breaching culprits as they pop into view and get a lucky shot on my Cromwell that was overlooking the area and destroy it in one shot.

Germans are counter attacking all over the map
some were beaten off, other captured abck some victory flags, some others that they captured, we retook.

(NOTE...I think this might have something to do with how Mike Wood altered the way the AI goes after V hexes now...I like it.)
For 8.403 Mike Rewrote bit of code that determines where a unit will move. if a unit was closer to a friendly hex than an enemy hex, it would move towards that hex. When visibility was high, that put most friendly units closer the friendly hex and most would move to that friendly hex and mill around. Now they will only move towards a friendly hex if there are no enemy hexes left or they are very close to the friendly hex, else they will move towards an enemy hex.

Deployment areas Mission#2
My briefing says I am to expand the beach area,
The deployment area for My forces is broken up into small areas and is limited in how far north they can go during deploy.
I have a Naval gun battery, an air strike section and a Tank Platoon for support
