Here's the reinforcements the Soviets get in turn 3. There are eleven of them. This eleven plus the 628 left over from turn 2 gives 639. Since there are 610 existing units in turn 3 that means that Buzz killed some 29 units in turn 2.

It's pretty nice to have working anti-air and air defence fire, isn't it? Special greetings to a special balkan fellow.

A couple of things. I have been very stingy on letting my planes go on combat support, have been trying to selectively target using them. I lost my aircraft do to support since the russians are to scared to come up.
The other is I am amazed how my inf regts loose their 150mm guns so easily. I guess they are leading from the front.

Are there any benefits for the Germans to cut the rail line to Murmansk? It's a supply source so it doesn't go out of supply. I think the benefits from lend lease still happen even if cut so taking Murmansk is the only real option?

Part of the flanking rules state that
Likewise, a unit that attacks into two, or more, non-adjacent hexes will suffer a Flank
Attack from the defensive fire of the defending units.
In this instance your artillery would be leading subsequent attacks. Could this be part of your problem?

Well this goes back to the previous examples of flank attacks. I attack from 2 non-adjacent hexes which as I understand cause the attacker to get a flank bonus. So the attacker also suffers from a flank attack?

Col Zap's battle report: Lack of fuel and ammo has hampered our ability to conduct any attacks. We sat for 2 days watching the rest of the divison take the town of Lutzk then we moved to cross the river. Good news was we are almost at full strength.
(Col Zap tries to remember if he has family in Russia, seems he remembers his grandmother telling him about relatives here)

Hehe, but I hope that this anti air fire is not a bit too much now?
What was the German losses on Eastern Front - Luftwaffe?
So we are talking about half week turns and 40 planes destroyed. Nice attrition.
Look at German replacement rate, well i am interested if their air forces will whiter sooner than historically.

That MAY happen. Also Arty can shoot during disengagement penalty I think. You shoot once and enemy unit twice plus arty I think.
