Interesting AAR. I have never attempted / received amphib assault on Yugo. If there are arty or air in South Italy, do these perform interdiction? How 'bout Greece.

Air in S Italy will give op-fire. Arty won't (it is not a narrows). And Greece won't.

As expected, no pearl harbour attack ... and US DOW!!

the upside is WA can fortified the SEA, the downside is w/o JP's attack no huge WR increase ...

the RAF did make some successful air raids in Europe and damaged a pair of HBs ... doesnt matter, GER got plenty of HBs to spare!

Winter 43 USSR + China

After the return of the huns, Stavka has decided to retake Leningrad in Spring, all efforts are heading that way, meanwhile a very succesful raid was launched against enemy planes based in Poland. We regret the damaged of those two figther units since only another is left to defend Mother Russia.

As for China the situation is quite complicated, fortunately the japanase offensive will be halted unles they want partisans behind their frontline, in Chungkind out of the 13 units 6 are artillery and it needs a garrison of four, will they keep on advancing?

Some info for our Western Allies on German production [8D]

Nothing happened in the Westline [>:]...

In the Pacific, WA has made a big gamble ... by cutting off the horrible IJN fleet in the South China Sea (with one supply left in Vietnam) ...

Spring 1943:

Germany:
meanwhile a very succesful raid was launched against enemy planes based in Poland. We regret the damaged of those two figther units since only another is left to defend Mother Russia.

The Luftwaffe decide to pay back a visit to those pilots and destroyed effectively the Russian planes based in Kharkov. We also gave more work to those comrade workers by putting 2 more factories out of commission.

In the West the US airforce will definitely gain mastery of the skies but we are not left without a response. More 88mm AA guns are build each turn.

Russia + China Sp 43

The ruskies retake Leningrad, but the superior german technology doesn't allow for an engage specially since Pholonti is as shrewd as Rommel and defensively he can emulate Model at his best[&o]

China has little to do since the fall of Chunking, nonetheless our WA have reinforced Mandalay and will probably expel them, the price will probably be the transfer of the whole province to WA [:(]

Sean, Gkar was looking for a new partner since MrQuiet has gone mia, you shopuld try contacting him and ask if heand his opponents are still interested in continuing the games and tournament.
As for MrQuiet password, I'm sure Brian (Wanderinghead) could break it or if not Jan (Jan Sorensen). If Gkar agrees then contact Brain or Jan for the pwd.

All,

as noted in another thread I prefer not to attempt to finish of any Round 2 games, as this would prolong Round 2 for(ever?)[:(]. All games of round 2 except those with GKar/MrQ are done or in WWIII stage. So the start of Round 3 is imminent, except for the Round 3 games already in progress (this one and one other stalled).

Please let me know, which game install you are using in this game, is it 1.011 or 1.2? All other games need to have the same install for two purposes (game stability and even playing field...)

Arthur the game we had pending in round two is almost finished (a511_rjh1971 vs sandeman_ yoursel [;)]) maybe you should let it end but skip WWIII, don't think that a511 can stand for more than one turn.

As for round 3 we were using v1.02

WA has landed in JP ... lets see what the IJA can do.

As there are no IJA in Japan I would imagine this was a sort of humor from our friends the Capitalists Imperialists [:(]

Germany is forced to let the Finns take care of their own problems. We still bomb a few factories here and there inside mother Russia but nothing will stop the Red Army in the near future.

Our 88mm AA guns are ready to fight the 8th Air Force bombers but that will not stop the bombs from doing their jobs.

Don't think Germany will survive beyond 1944 but still alive and kicking [:D]

Russia + China Su43

The soviets took Finland, lack of resources prevented them from advancing more, besides the elastic german defense could be very dangerous.

China now that Japan is about to fall China want to retake its lost territories.

Anyway now it will be fast with all the might of Russia and the Allies against Germany it's not a matter if I'll surrender but when [:(]

SU + China Fa43

The soviets advance into Odessa and Norway. The germans still have all their pzdivs in Eastern Poland covering all sectors. Lack of supplies is hindering more operations and badly needed repairs.

China try to rebuilds its factories, now that has all her territories back after Japan's surrender.
