Game engine converted a carefully planned 2-1 deliberate attack by an army group at Baguio Pass into a shock attack at 1-3. The usual fiasco, with thousands of Japanese dead. Anyone ever have this happen to them?

No, I haven't. Seems strange on two fronts - both conversion to shock attack and the lowered odds. I thought shock attacking only increased the attackers odds (at a casualty price).
