Durability and tonnage can both be specified individually for each class. They are not directly related.

Durability provides all the same functions that it did in WITP except size. We added tonnage primarily as a method of specifying size without durability. That is, a large, low durability ship (like an ocean liner) or vice versa.

so hypothetically, i could make all my capital ships about 10 tons each and make this repair docking more like Witp![:D]
