Yes it was a roadrace to see if the 38th div could return to townsville from Charter towers before the arrival of the MacArthurs army.

With the imminant destruction of the 17th army at Townsville the order was made to break out and move to a new location. Note the heavy LBA strike on the units as they try to relocate. I will always wonder if the unts where better off at Townsville. So I invite discussion. Fast trans was in effect and working but was not enough. In other news Efate was shelled again last night. Note the return damage given by the 8th CD regiment.

Heavy Bombers close Luganville. 15,000 Allied troops placed on Efate in one night by transport, fast transport and parachute. Soon to be another 25,000 if Big Red is cooperative.

I see mistakes made early cost IJ much later. My mistakes are coming in handy from a anylitical POV in my new game against another player as japan, senario. 17/100. Sorry for such a poor show on the AAR. I do feel i am still learning how to handle the japs.
