I thought that about the King Tiger too. Fact says that it should be. I punched an 88 into a Jackson. Miss. Hmmmm. Shoot again, damaged the turret. Hmmmm. Hoping I got the main gun, switched to another Jackson. Shoot, miss. Jackson shoots back. FRONT TURRET HIT, DESTROYED. At twenty+ hexes. A King Tiger's front turret. At twenty+ hexes. The turret on a King Tiger. I shoulda bought infantry, they are harder to kill.

Jess, I don't hang on to a draw. If I'm beat, I will say so. I'm not beat yet. An E8 found that out the hard way. My reinforcements were commited a long time ago! I still got fight in me!:mad:

I have made a very grievous error!:eek: ( I also killed two more enemy tanks, but I digress:p ) I have not payed attention to what turn it was! I have carefully marshalled my forces, failing to commit them while their comrades were being killed, to prepare for a counter attack! That's right, scouts, a counter attack!:mad: Alas, there is no way I will take any of Jess's captured vic hexes back in time!:mad: I now must hope for the draw, despite my earlier post!

The counter attack has begun. I'm throwing 5 or 6 Panthers, a Tiger, some Moebelwagens, and a PzIV into it. All 1 turn of it! Ah well, three or four allied tanks have learned this turn not to think of a Goblin as being beat! I have to admit a somewhat grudging respect for this Easy8 tank. The rest of the M4 series still suck. Except for Jess! I was scared going into this, and had rights to be, trust me!

I started with:

3 platoons ( 5 ea) of 8's up front, in support, 3 platoons of rangers ( 12 men each ),( Rangers are Billy bad arse's, they come with free Zooks!)

3 platoons of 8's set up in rear, caring 3 platoons of rangers ( 8-men each )

total 8's at set up = 30 (I lost 39 AVF's..go fig)

1 section of Jackson's,,,1 very north, 1 very south

1 zooka sec, spread out

1 155mm SPA w/2 ammo trucks, gob killed one way early and that really hurt! Speaking of Arty.... Gob did a great job! he was all over the place and he had Morts, 105's and 150's landing every turn!

Reinforcements;

I bought:

1 platoon of Jackson's, (they saved the day with at least 9 kills)

1 Platoon of M10 AC's (Jenny!), I changed the name of one M10, re-named - "Jenny" and Gob hit her with a 105 RCL! broke her main gun and she is still pissed! then her platoon fell-back as I felt victory.

Eric! aka known as Goblin is a great player, why do I like him??....... let me tell ya why

a. he ugly! (hee hee) Gob knows how to attack, draw back, pull you in and kill you!
b. he is cute! (so Jenny says)
c. arty! I don't want to talk about it
d. COUNTER ATTACK THE COUNTER ATTACK! If Goblin had a few more turn's he would have won the day, but alas........
e. I am honored to have a man/whatever on my side fighting off a Doom!

Last thoughts, I will wait for Gob's response.

Well, Jess, normally if your point total is higher than mine, you won. Thats the way I normally view it! Not this time! I earned every point of that draw! You MADE me earn it. Anyone who has doubts about ol' Jess here, lay them to rest.

I only started to lure you in after I hit that initial wall of resistance, taking heavy casualties! Then I decided to make my forces appear hurt worse. I left all wounded tanks in position, thus thining out my line. I then ran with everyone left! In this manner I managed to save 6 Panthers, a Tiger, and a PzIV. I was waiting to hurt you more before attacking, but goofed up! I am not so sure I would have 'won the day', as a wall of Rangers was coming right at me!

Excellent fight Jesster! I'm awful proud of this draw!
