The assault was a success the VC unit was destroyed

8KM east of Dong Son US and ARVN forces assault a VC location
The VC unit survives to fight another day but suffers 27% losses

Turn 17 and 18 early end to turn 17 meens the ground assaults were carried out next turn

VC activity is on the increase especialy in the Mekong delta

The 1st Bde of the 101st Aribourne arrives in Vietnam and lands at Cam Ranh

Operation Lien Ket4 starts US Marines and ARVN forces patrol from Da Nang to Hoi An no enemy are encountred
173rd Airbourne conduct a search and destroy around Phu My no enemy are encountred
1st RAR patrol NE of Bien Hoe AB but find no enemy
