OK sorry I've been absent for a few days - that's what happens when you go on holiday [;)]
Anyway - I've put up a video on ShipProduction, some of it dealing with Tracker
Found here:

Remember IE users need to download the file and play locally ...
Tomorrow I tackle ship repairs & Base expansion.(and might see if I can redo some of the remaining wmf files too).

Great Damian ! Many thanks.
No need to hurry especially on holiday, as long as you do not forget to make new videos from time to time [:D]

And another on Production ... just the beginning in a series.
First up Macro (large scale) ... which will be followed up by some more on the Macro side, before looking at the Micro(small).

Chris,
I did one on Air replacements ... Is this the sort of thing you wanted ?
Land is much harder to show, but I could summarise some of the material for you ...

Great thread!
One wish is how to setup an TF to move and attack during the night and withdraw right after?

Set Mission to Bombard. That's all there is to it.
The TF will go towards the target and "sprint" full speed the last leg. After executing the bombardment the TF will retire full speed. There is nothing else you need to do.
You can see that the TF is doing as described by the accumulated damage resulting from the full speed action.

One thing I would have liked to have done was show Fast Transports in action too, but until Patch3, only supply FT's work from what I can tell. Otherwise I defer to Rainer on the Bombard mission stuff.[:)]

Spot on... many thanks (I've got the Pilot replacement ones which are great though the level of detail in the game is a bit overwhelming at times) - the aircraft replacements was exactly what I was after.
Something similar on land units (even if just a commentary guiding us around the information screen) would be great but I appreciate that these take time to make.
Thank you,
Chris

But it wont work if there is an invasion fleet who already have started to unload troops, just tried it. Then the TF will bobmbard the ground forces.

Well there is always a chance that a Bombardment TF, will hit Transports unloading ... I guess I should really do one on reaction and I'll include in this some info on bombardment and SCTF's...

No worries Chris, I'll see what I can do for you. I think a commentary will be how I handle it as LCU replacement/device or TOE upgrades can be a somewhat ad-hoc affair ...

Terrific work, Damian! I just watched the "meet/follow" tutorial with special interest, as I managed to mess that up in my recent game. Your video confirmed my understanding: you had the faster (Bombardment, in your case) TF lead and the slower (Amphibious) group follow.
Anyway, these are a terrific resource for the whole AE community, not just newbies. Thanks for doing this.

Since the Beta has allowed Fast Transports to work as intended, I've done a long winded explanation about them (20Mb)[X(] ... But I just love 'em so ... [:D]

No worries...

Thank you again. Not only is this a great learning tool but it also helps me, a prospective buyer, see this excellent game in action. I know I will be back to the videos once I get my hot little hands on this game. Thank you so much!
