A massive naval battle was fought at Taipei. The Main Japanese BB Fleet held off wave after wave of Allied DD's plus a small BB TF led by the USS Georgia. The IJN BC Haruna was severely damaged by one of the first waves of Allied DD when she was torpedoed. She also took a torpedo from the allied sub R-26. This long battle was pretty stressful but fun to watch the sound of torpedoes being launched by the allied DD's really caused a few seconds of fear as I worried my main fleet would be completely destroyed by a wave of torpedoes. I feel like this was a victory of sorts because alot of his DD's are beat up and will probably be out of commision for awhile. I think he was trying to intercept and destroy that convoy that he fought in the last turn but found the Japanese main BB fleet instead. In other news San Marcelino fell as I have withdrawn into the Northern parts of Luzon and compacted my lines after the failed battle of Clark field. It was a fun turn [:)]
