Without the steroids and growth hormone and other such "vitamins", Maradona looks like a middle-aged sausage salesman.

I think it was the 'vitamins' that got him into that state [:D]

Green

Now I understand why there has always been a "debate" over English Goalkeepers [:D]

A goal is a goal is a goal...and yes, England's keeper looks less than world class.

I have been away for a bit.. and yes those "horns" drive me nuts!'

Whoever decieded to let people have them at the stadium should be forced to listen to 24/7 next 300 days. I think he/she would go insame.

Here is an good example how "pissed" people are..

I think this has member joining in every second now and one cannot argue with that.

Other than.. a bit too defensive matches so far. South Korea though was an pleasant suprise [:)]

...now If I just could get off that BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz sound...

Well done the US, well worth a point despite the horrible keeper error for their goal. As usual the English media build the team up as world beaters when we clearly are not. Lets hope we both get through to the next round.

Well, I just got reinforced in my conviction to watch no other World Cup matches. Those horns are just too damn annoying.[:@]

Well, turn the sound off. The problem with using another source for the audio (radio for example) is that there is always some desynchronisation. So a team is attacking and seconds before they score you hear: GOAAAAAL! [:D]

If you love footie as I do think about this: a World Cup every 4 years [8|]

From this yakee's point of view, England didnt bring their A game. I dont think its fair to blame just their keeper. Lots of squandered quality opportunities over and above those stopped by USA defenders. That performance wont get England to the semi's. USA wasnt too impressive either, but I had lower expectations of them. I'll take the draw! maybe we do make round of 16...

So far, I must say I havent seen the team 'to beat'

topeverest, don't be so humble [:)] What I have seen this evening confirms what I saw in Christmas. You can be very proud of this team. They may not win this World Cup but they are a very good team. Just think how bad they were a mere few years ago. There has been a massive improvement. And your main attacker is missing (a car accident: Davis is his name?) [8D]
