If you are interested/willing, here is a start to the list of ships I'm looking to add:
-Thai Taksin/Naresuan CL: For this one you will need to reference the Italian CLAA Etna as these ships were not completed or delivered and were taken over by the Italian Navy.

Pre-dreadnaughts
-Asahi: Former BB...fake turrets in place of the real ones so it still looks like an old Pre-dreadnaught but with large cranes admidships...it is technically a repair ship/sub tender.
-Fuji
-Shikishima
-Mikasa
-Kashima
-Satsuma
Dreadnaughts:
-Settsu
Protected Cruisers:
-Akitsushima
-Suma
-Tsushima
-Chikuma
Armored Cruisers:
-Ibuki
-Tsukuba
-Kasuga
-Yakumo
-Asama
-Azuma
Destroyers:
-Asakaze
-Umikaze
-Sakura
-Kaba
-Urakaze
-Isokaze
Most of these made it to the 1930s, and the cruisers and capital ships were actually still in existence during the war as training ships/hulks (some of them sunk in ports by USN Bombers).
So if you are interested, here is a project or two. I'm going to keep trying my hand at it, but any pointers you can give me for making the graphics would be appreciated.
Big B has an awesome version of Settsu, modernized for a shore bombardment role. You can find it on RogueUSMC's site.
What are you planning for the protected cruisers, armored cruisers and early pre-dreadnaughts? Do you plan on making auxiliaries out of them or are they going to retain their designations?
I'll go get BigB's Settsu. [:)]
As far as the protected cruisers...thinking along the lines of similar to their original configuration, but as PG or E type vessels. But if you keep the original look, that works great.
Allies probably won't be as extensive, since a lot of those ships already exist since Fremen has already done several of those vessels.

Most of the ships listed above are in WPO. I'll use them but try to put a little more AEish flare in them if I can.

Here is the first half of the Alt_Naval fleet. Basically these are the large ships. My next installment will be the smaller vessels.

OK, here is part 2 of 2 for the Alt Naval fleet. This time the smaller ships, CLs, DDs, PGs and CMs. I admit, I got a little lazy and instead of creating a new set of sides, I basically took the old sides I had for the smaller ships and tried to blend them a little better with the AE colors. So here is a (not so new) improved version of the Alt Naval small ships.

Looking at the cruiser with the carrier deck, what was the projected type and number of planes something like that was projected to carry?

Depending on which version, an airwing of 18 to 30 aircraft. Most likely Grumman FF-1s and SBU-1 Corsairs. Given the fact that it was to be built to light cruiser hull standards it would likely have limited stowage space and elevator dimensions.

OK, this is the 2nd Option of the CF Cruiser (the flying deck cruiser) that I attempted to make myself. With having only a description and no blueprints, I had to use artistic (I use that term loosely) license
Little late, and it's not a blueprint, but would the springstyles help:
S-511-9: "Proposed Flight Deck Cruiser". Plan dated 8 December 1939 for a 12,000 ton flight deck cruiser ("CF") with a main battery of three 8" guns.
S-511-4: "Proposed Flight Deck Cruiser". Plan dated 19 December 1939 for a 12,000 ton flight deck cruiser ("CF") with a main battery of three 8" guns.
S-511-5: "Proposed Flight Deck Cruiser, CF-2". Plan dated 31 January 1940 for a 12,200 ton flight deck cruiser ("CF") with a main battery of six 6" guns.

That BC would be a nice add to the game, i did a goggle search and never found the BC but I did find a CL that was started in 1939 by that name.
The BC is better known as Design or Project 1047, see

The CLs started out as Eendracht (briefly Kijksduin) and De Zeven Provincien, then had a whole string of name changes ending up post war as De Zeven Provincien (the original Eendracht) and De Ruyter (formerly De Zeven Provincien). De Ruyter is still in service with the Peruvian Navy as CLM-81 Almirante Grau.

Gary...
In your working with the Omaha's, have you ever done a side with the conversion to an CLAA - perhaps with 4 tw 5"38s just for drill. That would be the best use for them if some far sighted air minded guy made it to BuShips...

Looks too to me.. has this thing got 5 tw mts? What do you postulate for 1.1 or 40s, and light stuff??
Seems to me as it if would come in right handy quite often..

I see it as a USN equivalent to the RN prewar C-class CLAA conversions. 5x2 5in/38, 6x4 1.1 and 4x.50cal to start out, upgrading to replace 1.1 with 40mm and .50cal with 20mm
Try DL'ing the attached .zip file, it contains the side and shil bmp files. Let me know if it doesn't work, and I'll PM it to you.

Thanks... Got it..
Now to plug it into the mod I am reworking..
Got a little carried away with some ideas from AltNav and the Iron Storm combination. Would have required the entire steel output of the combined allies AND what they could smuggle in from the Hephaestus Smelting Works at Lagrange Point Two.
