Turn 22, 11/13/1941, Snow

No movement. We make many spoiling attacks, 2 Soviet divisions even shatter.

Your Crimea picture: those are Roumanian only stacks ? If you know this is going to work it would be great news - at least for me. I am serious: never tried this before.

A breakout from Crimea isn't a bad thing. It's a wonderful place to make a pocket come spring.

Those Romanians won't hold, if your opponent is worth his salt. If it were me, I would be moving troops to the Crimea right now, because you will need to divert forces to contain that breakout when it happens.

I don't intend to contain it too much. There are Italians behind the lines and 3 Panzer Corps within easy rail distance (sitting in cities).

Turn 26, 12/11/1941, Blizzard

Soviet winter offensive begins. We hold against many attacks, retreat against a few others. One infantry division is deployed from reserve to AGN, which had no local reserves at all. The Romanian mountain corps reinforces AGS (see screenshot). In Tula a panzer counterattack routs 3 enemy units. In the south a mountain division also counter-attacks successfully. Crimea holds.

Situation stable so far.

Even Romanians can hold a level 4 fort.

Turn 27, 12/18/1941, Blizzard

Many attacks are held off, but in other places cracks are starting to appear, perhaps most notably in front of Moscow. We rail a single infantry division to AGN, but all mobile units remain in reserve. Crimea still holds, go Romania!

Turn 28, 12/25/1941, Blizzard

We fall back slowly in several areas. Worst hit is the area near Velikie Luki. Tula is also abandoned. In the Crimea there is a retreat in the east.

Strategic reserves

Turn 29, 1/1/1941, Blizzard

We are ever so slowly being pushed back all along the front. A few counterattacks are made. At Velikie Luki a Corps of withdrawing panzer units is sent as reinforcements.

Turn 30, 1/8/1942, Blizzard

Situation stable. We make a few minor retreats and a few counter-attacks.

Turn 31, 1/15/1942, Blizzard

Three shock armies attack from Leningrad to Velikie Luki. The rest of the front is mostly quiet.

A tank division is cut off.

Turn 32, 1/22/1941, Blizzard

Soviet offensive in the north continues.

The rest of the front is doing ok.

Turn 33, 1/29/1942, Blizzard

Still being pushed back in a few places, but there are no major threats.

Turn 34, 2/5/1941, Blizzard

The Soviet offensive is now mostly halted, but they show no signs of stopping their attempts.
